SPY VIP GolfSpy_X Posted December 11, 2012 SPY VIP Share Posted December 11, 2012 MVP Sport has developed a revolutionary clip that allows for hands free video, using the iPhone 4, iPhone 4S and the iPhone 5. The MVP Sport Holster is a simple and affordable way for people to video themselves using the iPhone. With the holster you can attach your iPhone to virtually any alignment rod. Once attached, the rod slides into the ground and works as a mono pod base for videoing. Price = $16.99 >> MORE INFO #TruthDigest
hckymeyer
I used to use the iPing holster for that before I moved to the iPhone 5. I have been waiting for an update from Ping, but haven't heard anything about them making a new case. This one looks like it would also work for the iPing app, plus it's half the price!! Seems like a win-win to me. Thanks for sharing this one! Driver: SLDR w/ Fujikura Ventus Black 3w: '16 M2 hl w/ Diamana D+ 82 5w: Launcher HB w/ HZRDUS Yellow Hybrid: 22 deg. Good idea about using that cradle to hold the phone for video though. I bet that will work well... sparnar
Looks like a great little product. Have been struggling to video myself at the range. I used to use the iPing holster for that before I moved to the iPhone 5. I have been waiting for an update from Ping, but haven't heard anything about them making a new case. This one looks like it would also work for the iPing app, plus it's half the price!! Seems like a win-win to me. Thanks for sharing this one! hckymeyer, I was actually thinking the same thing about the iPing holder. How do you mount it? I don't think it will fit on an alignment rod. And I haven't thought of a way yet to get a club to stand upright with the iPing holder attached. Thanks, hckymeyer. I actually have the Tour Sticks ones, and I tried the iPing cradle on them, and it works well. Wouldn't say the fit is really snug, but it stays in place quite well. I even taped myself in the yard, and it works like a charm.
