Anyone know what material TM used for the face of these drivers?  I assume they are stainless but which type?  Couldn't find much on TM's website.

Sorry for posting this.  Right after I posted, I did a different search and found that the face is Titanium.

I don't think there has been a stainless steel driver head in 20-25 years.  I remember my original Big Bertha was ss back in the early 1990's.  Titanium is just stronger and lighter.

Talked to a guy who runs the golf department for a local Dicks. Guy is a real gearhead like us and he dismissed the new RBZ and SLDR C line as Dicks exclusives. He didn't think very much about either of them.

Edit: I assumed you were talking New RBZ and not the original. Dismiss everything I've said if that's not the case.

Thanks.  I was talking about the original Rocketbalz.  I still can't find a driver I can hit better..and boy have I tried.  I guess I'm influenced by the marketing hype but I haven't spent the money.  I always take my driver into the hitting bays when I'm looking at a new one.  The numbers on the rocketbalz are always within a few percent of any of the better new ones.  It always seems to be better on dispersion than anything else.  To me it just shows that the technology is pretty much maxed out.

One last question...anyone know how to "freshen up" the black finish on the face of these drivers.  Mine is a little worn.
