As someone who has had hypertension most of my life, I will say that there are several meds out there to help. But there are side effects too. I've been fortunate enough to be on a one a day slow release formula (hctz) that keeps me fairly level. The dangers of HBP are so masked sometimes too.  They can range from a tingling finger,  minor leg tremor, cheek or eye twitch,  etc, which are all precursors to a mini stroke up to a cardiac event.

Figures that my plan of spreading loam yesterday was a bad Idea, as I watch it wash into the street and create brown puddles. 😂  With any luck there will be some seed and loam left where I put it. The weekend looks good and better next week . Hope to play the "Gate" on Wednesday after morning track practice.😎

Oh yeah, it's Friday!!!!  Busy weekend coming up, but the weather looks amazing for playing Sunday (with the app on my phone I shouldn't miss too much of the Master's) with light winds.  Having to remember to put the sunscreen into your golf bag is a very, VERY good feeling when you live in the frozen tundra.

Mama Nature opened up with some serious wind gusts and buckets of rain putting my afternoon round in serious jeopardy. Maybe I'll just do it anyway....
60s and 70s on the horizon and I CAN'T WAIT. Would love to play 40-50 rounds this year, if not more.
Monday is a state holiday for us up here in the birth of America, Patriots Day,  and I'll be out on the course. 🙌

Good morning MGSpies from a soggy rain for the rest of the weekend but springtime WNY on this last day of the workweek.  Coffee is hitting the spot on the zero commute in basement command center where the dehumidifier has been running nearly constantly since yesterday and the sump sounds like Niagara Falls' little buddy.  Conference call was great as usual and glad to see so many on interacting, also glad to hear Chuck @cksurfdude got his thermostat repaired (and that friend is one to keep!).  Great looking profile pic @MattF and love the Aussi twist 🔥 
Tomorrow if anyone is in the WNY and Buffalo area, not intended as a plug for the brand but for the fundraising for Veteran golf it is, Resurgence Brewery on Chicago Street is again releasing for the 2024 summer season their Smash Factor IPA in partnership with OnCore Golf with a portion of the purchase price going to PGA HOPE program of the Western NY PGA section as shown on each can label.  This is the 3rd year of the event and dedicated support to local Veteran golf I volunteer for that really does make a difference in Veteran's lives, kicks off at noon and if anyone does venture in, I will be glad to spend the time with you! 🍻

Don’t think I could have asked for a better Thursday start to the Masters. Bryson at -7 blows my mind, Scottie still scorching red hot, Rory finally getting an opening round under par, Tiger looking really good thus far and hoping he can finish all 23 holes with no problem. 
And how fantastic was ESPN+’s featured group coverage with Clark, Rahm and then to my surprise, Tiger and DJ … all from the same stream. Loved it.

Got in some practice with the AI CH#1  last night, rolled about 80 putts on the patio, looking to grove the alignment and aiming aspect. 
Took me a few minutes but the AI dialed me in and I was able to consistently hit my aiming point and if I did miss it, it was just by a fraction.
