Ditto for me two weeks ago. I was quickly referred to an orthopedist, who gave me a cortisone injection and referred me to PT; I went to PT Monday. The injection has made the shoulder feel a lot better and PT is already improving the range of motion.
Good morning, Spies! A cloudy morning in central NC with rain expected later. I may try to get some putting practice in later, weather permitting, after taking my Garmin to the range yesterday for some data collection with the driver. It recorded a top swing speed of 81 mph, which will be my baseline when I start the fitness/swing speed work in the next week or two.
I kinda rotate hotels when I come to Raleigh twice a month, depending on rates and what's available near our office, but a common place to stay is within sight of the arena that houses the NHL Hurricanes and the NC State basketball team. I know not to stay here when the Canes are playing at home; the rates go way up and it's packed with hockey fans. So I was surprised last night to find that State had a home game against Duke; there was no bump in the room rates and it wasn't particularly busy. Except for two people at breakfast this morning in NCSU garb, I never would have known there was a game across the street last night. Granted, any Duke fans probably would have just driven the 25 miles back to Durham after the game instead of getting a room.

Good morning to all on a beautiful sunny and warm day from the greater Toronto area. So maybe the groundhog didn’t see his shadow after all. The draw has been set for March MGS cup madness. Which team will win and earn extra bragging rights.

There are some strong teams here. Personally, after watching them all season, I like @Javs/ @CFreddie as well as @GolfSpy_BEN / @Preeway and @Randall Robbins / @IndyBonzo  My sleeper picks @Golf2Much / @GolfSpy_APH or @Josh Parker / @EasyPutter  If this was curling, it would be no contest as @GolfSpy_APH would clean the house and leave it on the button every time. So who are you picking. Check out the MGS Virtual tour thread. Have a great day.

    Morning All,

Today marks the start of an 11 day work week. Rain looks to be moving in today, so my plans of getting on the course this morning has been thwarted by the retired guys getting their rounds in this morning on base. That’s fine as I still have to shave my face and get my uniform on. Hope everyone has a great start to their week.

Good morning everyone. Still a little weary from 1200 miles of travel in 3 days. Coffee is helping but even more is knowing it’s a short week with P/T conferences and then spring break. Should have plenty of time to get in some golf in between the assorted tasks the wife has planned for us. Hope everyone has a great start to their week.

Good morning and happy new start of the week! I was able to get out and play golf on Saturday which felt great! Although playing in 20 mph wind isn't the easiest way to start the season, I had some really nice shots and was happy with how I played. The weather cools down a little bit this week, but is still in the high 50s to low 60s. Hopefully, a few more good chances to get out and play golf. This is the last week before students go on spring break, so if I can get through this week, I've got a lovely week off. Can't wait!

I hope yall have a memorable Monday!

Well, good morning spies!  They made  an error in my GC schedule and I did not actually have to be there this morning to work the course. It's tomorrow.  So now the boss lady has issued me working orders around the household, starting with my closet!  Ugh.  It's my dysfunctional organized mess, and I know exactly where everything is (just like my garage) well, she's not having it...😆
Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning folks. Had a great weekend watching and playing soccer, watching the Cognizant, some patio and grilling, the STL Art Museum and pickleball!
My wife said it would be a good week to get some morning golf in for me… I might have to take her up on that 🤔
    Happy Monday!

    Good morning Spies!
In the gym parking lot about to head in.  No coffee as I have not yet found a good place on the way to the gym in our temporary digs.
Working hard on my golf swing to cure the casting and over the top caused by my lower body mistakes.  Where in the wide world of sports do these issues come from over a winter layoff?  It’s like an unknown infestation crawls in from somewhere.  Why don’t better habits show up instead?   This damned wonderful horrible beloved betraying game.
i hope you all have great Mondays and great weeks.

Good morning spies on this back to the grind Monday. Had a pretty nice weekend here with temps in the upper 60s on Saturday and near 80 yesterday. This week we are back in the 50s with a chance for rain this afternoon.
Nothing too crazy in the immediate plans other than work, have a great day spies.

Good morning and happy Monday. Played a less than stellar round yesterday and just had a lazy swing going on. Today is some work and then a little practice into the net.
I have a feeling this week will be packed full as it's my son's last week of school before the spring break.  Hope everyone has a great day!

Good Monday morning to each , well the boomers came back yesterday and dumped a couple inches rain  on our area late yesterday afternoon so it’s foggy , damp this am . 9:04 tee time this day so we shall see what  game I’m able to muster then . Got issues with shoulder muscles being tight and even going up my neck so may have to take a break after my chiropractor visit tomorrow! May your day be enjoyable , fruitful , and kind ! Be blessed y’all !

Good morning Spies on a back to work Monday for me here in the Motor City area.
May approach the record high temperature today, supposed to be in the upper 60's, but then rain moves in later tonight and cools thing off closer to normal for the rest of the week.
Was a busy weekend for me, did manage to get a round in yesterday, will post scores later tonight.
Hope that your day is the best it possibly can be, and that something enjoyable is in your plans. ⛳

    Good morning everyone!
It was a bit of a strange start to the morning as my wife made the coffee pot last night and didn't get the carafe back on right. It didn't really make a mess, but did only make about 2/3 of the normal amount of coffee. It's a bit concentrated and stout.
I am planning on playing this evening with the usual work group, it's going to be in the mid 70's when we get off.
I hope you all have a great start to the week!

We interim foster rescues from a Cat shelter here, (Well, the wife does), before they are sent to other states for adoption. Out of 120+ cats/kittens weve fostered, we only foster failed once (so far!) Sometimes it's a nee young momma and her litter, Sometimes it's just the kittens. It's definitely a dedication that is like no other. There's no money, but the reward of helping them integrate into normalcy is rewarding.

Dumbbells and treadmills, so I could do my YouTube fitness regimen plus an uphill hike on the 'mill. Just what I wanted. Fit For Golf will apparently require bands or cables, neither one of these is here, so I will have to bring bands with me on future road trips.

We currently have 2 foster fails I our house, along with another dog.  My wife brought a dog into the marriage who is currently 16, “fostered” another who is currently 17 (couldn’t leave her in the shelter, she was gross), and a 4 year old husky that we fostered, she got adopted and then returned 9 months later.  Really weren’t expecting the other dogs to still be around, but they’re still going strong.
We have had a number of other dogs through the years as fosters, but with 3 I the house it’s hard right now.
Glad you are able to provide a little stability for the pup @MattWillGolf!

When a foster family adopts their foster the call it a “Foster Fail”. The dog we will foster is having a tough time. We are hoping to give her a break from the mildly chaotic life at the shelter. She is a pittie mix. She doesn’t have the thick fur we like in our dogs. Not sure that we are ready for full time pet just yet.
Speaking of the Donner Party. My sister and her women’s hiking friends are currently snowed in at Mammoth. She thinks they will get out tomorrow.

Have seen segments of those on TV .. must be even better in person where you could walk around and really see everything!

That's awesome, you guys are great. My wife and I literally could *not* do that, i.e. in that fostering would equal adoption 😊 (..and we're not ready for another one .. or two, or.. yet ..)

Well look at that - in this case your She Empress is spot on correct!! 😄👍

Oh man that was hilarious and my wife was laughing, too ... she's always trying to say how we don't communicate with 😝

Good you missed that 10 feet of snow in the northern Sierras .. and good thing you weren't trying to drive on I-80 over Donner* Pass!!
*Fun factoid - actually named after the real 1880s-ish Donner Party of pioneers heading to CA and got stuck up there in a blizzard and reputedly resorted to cannibalism... 🤢

Good evening Spies! Arrived at the first stop of the biweekly road trip. Nothing resembling golf today, but I brought my Garmin with me and hope to get out to the range tomorrow and get some more data. Also plan to work out tonight at the hotel, although this is a semi-new hotel so I'm not sure what's in the fitness center.
