Does a Crisp Black Tuxedo, or the little black dress ever go out of style.. Titleist I beleive has nailed it again.. less is more. No need for pin stripes and logos on the top of a club

I think they look outstanding! The TSR3 was/is one of the best drivers ever designed. The numbers don’t lie, even Titleist “Haters” admit that it just performs. The GT will be just as good, if not marginally better. The crown material is an interesting story, but it allows weight to be put directly behind the ball, and deep in the head like the 2. It’s like a TSR4 with positional weight up front. I thought they might go Matte. I will game my TSR3 for another year or so, find a head and throw it on my XC-5 and see how she goes.

Since 2000 when I started playing, I am around 40-50 sets. But that has cooled off in the last few years, I gamed the 714 AP-2’s on/off until last year when I built a 718 AP2/718T-MB set that I don’t see myself replacing anytime soon. Especially with the price of a new set of Titleist irons these days. Definitely won’t be dropping the 699.99 on the GT.

The GT3 weight system is now sealed with windows to see the weight setting, so our minor issues with the occasional dirt getting in there is gone.

They look clean and fast. They look like a Titleist. But I can’t take anyone seriously who thinks that a big loud toaster with fins called “Turbulators” on the crown looks cool, or a driver with writing and multiple materials on the crown looks ok, (or ALL 3 in Ping’s case!)but thinks these Titleist drivers are too clean and shiny!!??😂 They will flat out perform, and I will still be hitting last on approach shots! Looks are subjective… to a point.

Titleist is in many ways always a little unique. These clubs display that uniqueness. Those who have commented “they look luke Titleist” have articulated the thoughts that I have. I would put them in my bag and not think twice.
