I know the craftsman head covers test has been over for a while now but I have to show you what happened to mine after they got wet and I tried to dry them off. Picture attached.

Hit a beautiful drive right down the middle on 18 a par 5, had 177 to the green grabbed my 4 hybrid. Now this hole has two lakes that are probably 50 yards in front of me. I take my swing and hit a line drive that skips off the lake and rolls about 80 yards and stops 10 yards short of the green, I chip on and make the putt for the only good skin. Better lucky than good. 

I have tried different brands in the past, I didn't like the Nike or etonic so I tried footjoy and been buying them for years, I wanted to try there boa shoe but it was so hard for me to reach the knob with it being on the heel. So I tried the ASICS boa because the knob is on the side and I really like the way they look and feel, these are my go to shoes almost every time play.

I used the mindset balls today and played pretty well.  I shot 40 and finally made the eagle putt on 18, I reached the green in two the last 3 times I played that side. The strange thing was all three times I had exactly 197 yards to the green and hit my 3 hybrid. Maybe I should play that number. Hit'm well all.

Practiced chipping from 5 to 10 yards short of the green this has always been a weakness in my game. It has been improving this year but my distance control still isn't where I want it to be, I'm either too long or too short and most of the greens on the course I play slope from back to front so chipping above the holes is not good. I am so afraid to go above the hole that I leave my chip way short, so practice, practice, practice.

These greens are sloped so severally that if you are 5 feet above the hole and miss the putt you might putt it off the front and have to chip again. That's what I'm afraid of.
