I get to play Erin Hills today. Bucket list course with arguably my favorite logo in golf. I can’t wait. Will make sure to take lots of pictures to share here. Glad to have @Swood1994 by my side to experience this.

Good Morning everyone!!
A little grey and wet here so not sure about golf today .. since I have the advantage of being able to go pretty much whenever, I can avoid mud ball and be more of a fair weather golfer!
Always things to take care of around the house, right?, and there's always the garage net and basement putting mat for a little practice time. 
Did have some good range and putting green time yesterday; but the course was super busy .. probably due to today's forecast .. so didn't get an open tee time while I was there.

Good morning everyone. Up way too early after a late night. Got some last minute packing before hitting the road for 5-6 hours to meet up with the rest of he family. Still have some more posting to do with the Ventus and two rounds to play while on vacay so plenty of more info to share. Good morning all! 

Just finishing up some work before heading out and making my way to the course. Tee time is at 9, it is an hour away and the car didn't fully charge so I may need to stop and give it a quick 20 minute boost. Maybe. 
Today marks 1 year for me writing on the main site. Which honestly is a little wild. I can't believe that I have had this opportunity to contribute to the main site and am truly grateful for all that I have been gifted within the MyGolfSpy ecosystem. This community has been thriving and gaining momentum, we have continued to expand what we do here outside of just posting. I get to work with a fantastic team on the forum and another great team over at HQ. For a long time the Forum and HQ kinda felt like separate entities and we ran parallel, but not necessarily together. That has definitely changed and the MyGolfSpy community is definitely better off for it. 
After a year worth of producing content for the main site I have managed to produce over 160 pieces that have been published. Many of them small such as the Testers Wanted, but some others that are longer and is just fun and cool to see. A huge thanks to Greg the former COO for opening that door for us. The Forum Member Recaps have been stellar and a real hit which I love to see.

Yesterday was a little hectic at work, but also got a call from a program I am trying to get into since I’m retiring. Highly competitive program for military members that helps you network, get your name out in the areas you are interested in for work, and gives you a mentor/coach along the way. It’s so competitive that you need two letters of recommendation, your own resumé, and set up an interview with one of the top people at the program. So yesterday I did my work, but was also having to find two people that I knew who could write letters of recommendation for me. Then putting travel info in for my trip to Peru in October. That took way longer than needed, but I’m good to go for that now. Today I’m going to be spending it with the wife since we both have the day off and I got back from my visit Tuesday. Haven’t been able to spend a lot of time with her since then due to work. No golf today, but we are going to see one of our favorite local musicians this evening at the Virginia Beer Company. Hope everyone has a great day. 

Yes from the military. And sadly that isn’t the first time I’ve heard someone say that about their family member or themself with the VA. Why that happens I can’t tell you.

Retiring from the Military or like your old enough to retire? Asking as my son separated from the Air Force in November. He went in to the VA to get his College stuff started. they were like, UMMMM We can't find you in the system, WHAAAAAAT. It's been a mess but he has an appointment next week with the VA. He will be going to OIT (Oregon Institute of Technology) this fall. 

I think this would be great. Maybe more people would be able to jump on and ask questions.
