Lot's going on in my household:
Daughter has Flu b 😢 Wife is still having issues with her broken hand 😢 Cat was diagnosed with cutaneous lymphoma   😢 Me having surgery today.   I have to be at the hospital at 8:30, surgery is scheduled for 10:30, duration is estimated at 5 hours, and a 4-7 day hospital stay follows.   Don't think I will be back on the forum until tomorrow 😞  I'll try to post an update this evening depending on how I am doing.  My wife laughed when I told her that she could do some things she needs to get done tomorrow since I planned on being on community call tomorrow night and there would be people at the hospital to take care of me.
 

I'm taking a big step forward this year. I am signing up to get my official handicap and not just the 18 birdies handicap. I am looking forward to getting to see where I come in at to where I end at in a year.

Back in 2020 when I first started playing, I would lose a lot. When I started practicing and working on my game to get better, I saw the amount of balls I lost start to come down. Most of the time I am now down to 2 lost on the front 9 and one lost on the back 9. Goal is to make it 2 or less this year while playing.

So the goal for the new year is a fresh set of irons for sure. I don’t need a brand new driver as I’m getting last years paradym in a 9 degree head. I just can’t pass that up when it gives me an extra 10 yards and is more consistent than my current driver which is the Rogue St. I just need to find a good fitter where I can dial in the proper head and shaft, but I’m already leaning towards those Mizuno pro 245/243 irons

With @GolfSpy_APH bringing up a good question, I will also state that the putting mat I had in Florida I used double sided tape to keep in place. I was also in an apartment and just took it up every time I was done practicing. Not sure if you would want to do that, but that was my solution

Jamie and Ben laid this out well but let me say this and really think about it
 
IF YOU CANT READ AND FOLLOW DIRECTIONS WHY WOULD THE STAFF TRUST YOU TO FOLLOW THROUGH WITH A REVIEW. 
We as staff lay everything out for every member to have a legit chance at each review(OEM restrictions do make some ineligible but that’s out of our hands).  I’m lowballing here but half the applicants don’t even have a profile picture which makes you ineligible before you even apply. 
 
Remember these are not giveaways. We as staff say all the time that we hand pick testers and that’s why we lay everything out there so we are as transparent as we can be. 
 
If the guys that sign up for everything, don’t follow the rules, then go and complain and bash MGS everywhere they can, would spend half that time and effort to read and follow the rules, they would have gotten an opportunity already. 

Also important to keep these 3 things in mind as we enter the 2024 testing season:
no profile pic = no test. 
  Carefully consider the opportunity before you sign up. If you are selected to test an item, it will likely be the only test you will be selected for this season.  Testing equipment does not in any way equate to a free giveaway. By agreeing to test something you will be agreeing to give a good portion of your time and attention over a 4-6 week period. Testing is a lot of fun, but it is also work and should be considered as such. With that being said, good luck this season and I can’t wait to share all the good things we are working on with you all!

Up way too early but gives me time to catch up and get stuff ready for the day. 
Another nice weather day and need to work thru the different features on the Mevo+.
