  1. Plus 2 will be the cut line, Jordan Spieth will be -2 after the second round.
  2. Currently I am considering buying new Irons. I play Taylormade M2’s 6-PW, and carry 5 & 4 Taylormade hybrids. I am considering Titlelist T400’s. Or Srixon ZX4/ZX5 combo set. I am also looking at buying 5 iron through pitching wedge and dropping one of the hybrids. Can anyone give me feedback or make other suggestions. I am kind of wide open and would consider others.
  3. I use dawn and water. Once all cleaned I use club doctor to polish up.

If you have a round to post all you need to do is go over and post the score. I will double check with Tim, but dont believe there is any template needed.

Which does remind me I need to post mine from today!

@golfspy_APH is right... the template is built right into the weekly thread.  Here is the current week:

Find the "Post Score" button and you are on your way 🙂

  6. Congratulations everyone. Looking forward to your reviews
  7. First set was a set of Ram, can’t remember model number after that Hogan Radials Wilson Staff Cleveland TA5 Ping G15 Taylormade M2
  8. I stumbled on to this site not long after it started. I found the equipment reviews Frank and honest. Golf and golf digest reviews were pretty much advertisement for the OEM’s. To see a review that spoke of strengths and weakness was refreshing. Plus Noel, Harry, John an the whole gang make me laugh
  9. Have fun every round, practice efficiently and hopefully stay healthy.
  10. Depends on where the trouble is. Bunkering,Water, swales. Error to the safest area of recovery
  11. In the Baltimore area we’re lucky to have some really good municipal courses. I play the Baltimore city and county muni’s some that are excellent. I also play the Montgomery county municipal course which are nice as well. The last two year I have played in MISGA, Maryland interclub senior golf association where we play many private clubs through Maryland. Great value and competition.
  12. Yeah always fun to watch, even though I never win anything
  13. With a butt like mine white is off the menu
  14. I would be interested in both days. I live near by so I would be driving in and out both days.
  15. Thanks everyone, fairways and greens to y’all
  16. Two tips I keep in mind that have improved my game. "Strike the match" Feel if your club is coming through the ball like striking a match, this keeps your club head accelerating. Point your right shoulder at the target. This forces you stance open a tad. I keep my weight 60-40 on the front foot.
  17. Have you guys heard of or tested SF Jupiter shafts. Seen an advertisement on Facebook and as with all these ads they have a bunch of testimonials, however I typically don’t buy unless I read your assessment. Thanks
  18. I have been moving to plus 4's as well as the align grips on all my irons. When I was fitted for my wedges I also had them installed. Some people I play with don't care for them on wedges because of the feel when you open the face. I really like that feel. To each his own.
  19. Love to get fitted for a new Driver. I wouldn't be opposed to a mini-driver either
  20. Favorite I ever played is the 16th at La Quinta Mountain course. The view from the tee is incredible and birding the hole from the sand left of the hole didn't hurt:)
  21. Play the tees that are most fun for you. I am 68 years old and most of my playing partners are much younger. I typically play the white tee (men's average)with them and keep up with them even though I am hitting hybrids into greens when they are hitting irons. I joined a senior group recently where you play from the Gold(senior) tees or a blended between white and gold tees. I find that it has made me a much better golfer playing these not simply because it is shorter but now I have holes where I don't always need to hit driver off the tee. The course makes me think more plan my shots and when I play the whites with my usual group I still am more mindful of the hole layout and what I need to do.
  22. Folks, I am looking at picking up a motorized golf cart so I can walk the course more often. Does anyone have any recommendations and brands or features I should look at. Remote or no remote? Battery type? thanks Steve T
