  1. The tri sole is intended to provide different bounce characteristics based on the type of shot you are trying to hit….some need more bounce and some need less. It’s goal is versatility https://mygolfspy.com/cobra-trusty-rusty-wedge-review/
  2. The only tournament I ever made time for was the LPGA event that was local to me and that was because I wanted to volunteer. While I watch some golf most every week, I don't go out of my way to allocate time, If I have something better to do I won't watch.
  3. There really isn’t a definitive answer. Some people may be more co distant and faster; some slower and less consistent, some faster and less consistent, and some slower and more consistent. Everything about a club is how you react to it. as a suggestion, nickels weigh 5 grams so you could tape a couple to the butt end of the club and see if that helps with your noticed inconsistencies. The nickels and tape should get you close to the 13 grams you lost.
  4. Every 4 grams +/- will alter the swing weight of a club by 1 swing weight. You decreased by 13 so that is about 3 SW points. If they were D1 they are now about D4.
  5. Nothing wrong with going with the old fashioned way. Experience and building that knowledge about what break looks like works too. I think basically you are doing the same thing as Aimpoint…the slope looks like this and based on experience it will break this much.
  6. Or go learn that - Jordan speith https://www.si.com/golf/news/jordan-spieth-and-michael-greller-will-use-aimpoint-to-get-a-putting-edge I think it is used more than we see as they don’t really show much of the preshot routines and green reading. Probably used more by caddies and we see them straddling the putts line. The approach only seems to get talked about in a negative light … Keegan Bradley and the 4 foot putt. Yes, lots of more prominent LPGA players. Scroll through their Twitter or Instagram pages and you will see more PGA and DP players than you seem to think….Hovland, Homa, NeSmith, Burns, Bezuidenhout, Brian Gay, Van Rooyen, Redman are some of the ones I saw. https://www.instagram.com/aimpointgolf/?hl=en
  7. The only things is that you are estimating the vector point. This isn't estimated, it is a calculated value. And if the third spot appears to have a third point are you going to do another read? If you don't identify the fall line then you can't find the correct vector; if you are able to visualize the breaks from those other lines, you shouldn't have any issue finding the zero break line.
  8. The fingers indicate the %slope that they felt with their feet. They align one side of their fingers with the hole or center of hole and the aimpoint is the edge of the outer finger. The speed of the greens influences how far they hold their fingers away from them. Using the fingers is aimpoint express.
  9. Can’t answer that. What you score isn’t completely relevant to the equipment you use. The equipment is driven by the swing and how you load/unload the shaft and how you deliver it at impact. The only way to know would be to try the shaft or,if you were able to provide launch monitor numbers an expert might be able to tell you a direction to go that might work. what are you hoping the shaft will do for you? Help close the face faster so you don’t push? If so, that probably isn’t shaft related but more swing and entire club setup.
  10. Being that I have no interest in woods, hybrids, or irons I would probably Skip this type of fitting. I would be interested if we could do some type of wedge fitting to learn and see what type of bounce/grind might work best for me.
  11. Aimpoint express which is what is mostly taught now is pretty different than what is being discussed in this thread. It really isn’t that much guesswork. It is more about training yourself to interpret the slope you feel. Based on recent direction on tour all the slopes are no longer present in the green books. That said, it does not take long to do the vector approach or the Aimpoint express approach. I am not sure why you would want to try and find this intersection point via multiple reads during a round; the videos you posted are to illustrate that the intersection point exists and is mathematically based. If you want to do this method, buy the Aimpoint charts or do some experiments during practice to verify the data.
  12. Sort of. It is the distance above the hole on the zero break line so it really isn’t exactly the amount of break since the actual break/curve amount would vary as you move around the hole. in the image below the red shows the break and as you rotate closer to a line perpendicular to the zero break line the amount of break increases.
  13. Here is what one of the charts looks like; there is a chart for various green speeds.
  14. Does the Rapsodo measure swing speed without ball contact? If it does, it should work for any speed training system. If it doesn’t, you won’t be able to use it for speed training.
  15. Yep, that part is missing and to pick the point, you need the charts like the original aimpoint and not the express method.
  16. The multiple points is really the background to how it works and showing how all putts have a single aimpoint. to implement this appraoch, you find the zero break line/fall line and then based on green speed and slope you look at a chart and pick the single point to aim.
  17. The video nor the document explain the charts that are necessary to pick that point. The method is the old vector green reading that was sued by the aimpoint people and forced to shut down. He does reference Geoff Mangum who has provided a method for finding the gravity vector so you knw where to aim. http://puttingzone.com/MyTips/zbl.html . I guess the question is whether aimpoint or vector putting is the better approach.
  18. Phil Kenyon is doing a 5 day putting challenge ---- 5 Days of Simple Tasks, Q&A and Webinars to Help You Hole More Putts. It's free; all you have to do is go to the link below and sign up. https://www.philkenyonputting.com/challenge
  19. https://mygolfspy.com/our-team/ BENNETT GREEN MEDIA & CONTENT MANAGEMENT'
  20. Have you sent an email to Bennett and asked for a list of winners?
  21. Not to make light of the situation; definitely sad. But as a public service, for those in gator country make sure you take a frying pan with you: https://www.fox6now.com/news/watch-man-fights-off-charging-crocodile-with-frying-pan-video-goes-viral
  22. IMO, Feel will vary based on thinks like head, grip, and shaft. It has been talked about that the profile of the shaft influences what is felt, grips will enhance or dampen feel. Did you just use your shaft when you hit the rogue? We’re they compared side by side? I don’t know you gapping but you could also back off on the 3 wood or have both if they generate different ball flights.
  23. With the publishing of strokes gained numbers and analyzing more shot analytics, it shows that the farther you can hit the ball the lower scores will generally be. Yesterday, Rory was asked about a drive he hit over the trees and his response was analytics show that you should hit driver there. The game of golf is changing and bombing the ball is generally the optimal strategy. There really is little reason to “think” while on the course as strategies are already calculated and formulas are followed.
