    Nice looking wedges!
  2. Hope you get some good news and it isn’t very serious.
  3. Nope, I have physically seen 2 PXG drivers for 2021. I am pretty sure the one I am referring to is still embargoed
  4. I didn’t look at the model numbers but PXG has always had different models for their drivers. The 0211X and 0221XF stick in my mind as typical naming. Basically a players version and a more forgiving model; just like other manufacturers. The players version is the one that I am referring too.
  5. @thin2win; just wanted to say I have enjoyed the wit and touch of sarcasm in this review. Made me smile which is something I really need to do right now.
  6. Will depend on which model. I know there are two in for driver testing...one looks good, one not so good.
  7. It has been said that the ball doesn't care about this swing only impact. Lets assume everything is the same except the acceleration of the club. At impact the club transfers energy to the ball and the ball then jumps off the face; lets say 100mph clubhead speed generates 150mph ball speed. If the person accelerated from 0 to a maximum of 100MPH at impact they would get 150 ball speed. If they swing and achieved 110 during the swing but decelerated to 100 at impact they would still get 150mph ball speed. At impact there will be some deceleration of the clubhead speed due to impact so max speed would be just before impact. In your other topic of interest paragraph, those factors are club influences are what fittings do. They assess how the dynamics of your swing and see how the clubs is delivered at impact. The fitter then changes the shaft characteristics to make it bend appropriately to achieve maximum potential.
  8. I'll have to take a look at them again next time I stop by headquarters to see what it looks like at address.
  9. After reading the comments it sounds like a fun thing to go through. Signed up for next week.
  10. If you take everything away except for look, there really is not difference in the swings. I think swing mechanics are driven by how your body works so I guess you could say that effortless is something your are "born with" or destined to have.
  11. Both are essentially effective swings that are the same from an impact perspective. Since I want to play golf for a long time, the one that guarantees no injuries . Visually I’d prefer the smoother swing. People seem more impressed the Els like swing Than a Bryson like swing.
  12. Not judging, just curious on why. Do you only pick putters that are milled from single block?
  13. I used to be short most of the time, but have been focusing on better targets which has moved my dispersion circle into a better spot. My evaluation has also become less directional (short, Long, left, right) and more proximity to the target. Updated the last word to be target because The hole is seldom my target.
  14. Not being able to visit family members in the hospital really sucks!!!!
  15. Asked Harry last night. They are still working on logistics and with most wanted testing going on it may not be a live event. They are trying to get it done this week.
  16. Have to do what keeps the family happy.
  17. Continue to focus on game improvement, your clubs will be fine. I never spend a lot on clubs. Most of my acquisitions were the result of selling old clubs and the using that money to buy new clubs. No impact to the family budget.
  18. That would be the amino vital towel. I remember when all the caddies had those and it was a highly desired towel in the consumer market. I guess people thought it rubbed magical properties onto the club when it was wiped off. A towel is a towel but ideally a longer towel is better since you can dip one end in water and dry with the other. While you can do this with shorter towels, the moisture tends to soak the entire towel.
  19. Some never replace their driver some replace it after every round. If you are looking from a technology perspective change about every 5 years. There isn’t a specific hit count for drivers. Play it til it breaks or you want a new one.
  20. Have seen a few reviews and they are generally not favorable. Things like it doesn't stay in place and is of poor quality.
  21. I think his comment was more related to my doing most wanted testing and not forum testing. But yes, there are forum testing opportunities that go outside the US.
  22. Also forgot that I played a few holes with Chandler Harper many years ago. Caught up with him on the 5th hole and played the rest of the 9. Wasn’t as into golf then but did hear a few Hogan stories.
  23. I love the interchangeable hosel as well. This is where putter manufacturing needs to continue to go; true configuration control of the putter to get ideal setup. Machine putters had it right, now Evnroll. Hoping you can personally order the parts so it can be an improvement over the Edel fitting only strategy.
