  1. Me, too. I just put the ground coffee and water in the Smeg and push a button.
  2. Flange line only. Had a few Odyssey putters years ago (DFX?) that the site lines always looks skewed to me that when it looked like it was aimed on my line, made the putter to appear as if the face was open.
  3. Using the inflation calculator, my 1987 $300 set of 3-PW Titleist Tour Model irons would be $720 today. Today, a comparable set of 3-PW Titleist 620MB is $1400.
  4. 5. I have not played golf since March of this year and was at a minimum last year. Had a back procedure June 2020 and again in April 2021. Following that a few months later I was in a car accident which involved the loss of both vehicles. I cannot recall going for this long of time without playing and I hate it a great deal. Saw my parents last week and it was first time visiting that I did not play golf with my dad. His days are numbered (85 but shot below his age the a few weeks before) and hopefully I can play soon as he is visiting in a few weeks. Just a little venting.
  6. I use iron covers for the same reason I keep my woods and putter covered, to protect from dings. It makes absolutely no sense to me to not use covers on soft forgings. Why cover your Scotty/Betti/JDM putter but not your irons? If my covers bother you, then you have bigger problems and probably wear a white belt.
  7. My 58 gets the most use from 90 yards and in. I may pull out another around he green depending on how much run I have but the 58 is the go-to from that distance. I love my 58.
  8. "it's just taking away a skill that takes time and practice" Similar cavity-back irons and 460cc titanium and carbon fiber drivers. Go back to persimmon and blades with the same argument?
  9. Order of desire to watch for me: Masters, The Open, US Open........PGA.
  10. I've played Sand Hollow and Coral Canyon of those you have. Really need to go back. When I did my SG trip (live in Spanish Fork) we also played Wolf Creek in Mesquite. If you go back, don't pass up playing this course. I really want to play Copper Canyon next.
  11. I'm only selling this because [fill in the blank]. I couldn't care less why you are selling. Does not affect whether I would buy or not. Am I supposed to take pity on you and buy?
  12. Dozen TP black balls and choice of a TM putter or hybrid. This was 2008 or so.
  13. I am now 50, currently play Apex 4 shafts and love them but I have a chronic back issue that came up in 2020. I am seriously thinking of moving to graphite R Recoils in a set of Maltby TE Forged heads while reducing my swing. I could certainly have my current irons reshafted, too. Love the club so don't really need another.
  14. Many boutique putter companies in Japan. My guess is one of those.
  15. In search of a True Temper Tri Gold regular flex 5i (or longer) shaft with Sensicore. Not a widely used shaft or available for long. I have a bent shaft in a set and need to replace. Must be .370 as well.
  16. I don't see Sensicore available on TT's site. Probably been a few years but I just noticed recently. Used to be able to buy the inserts I believe through Golfworks and the long-gone Golfsmith. Golfworks does sell ProSoft inserts.
  17. A family member lives in Orlando in the same development as Hideki and frequently sees him across the street at the range. He also speaks Japanese and has spoken to Hideki's manager. Perhaps he will get to meet him now.
  18. Same in Utah County. I get that they want the most revenue an that is the best business move for them to make. As to your name, MN = Minnesota?
  19. After a second back procedure (10 days ago) I need to switch to regular flex graphite shafts. Looking at the Maltby Forged TE irons with UST Recoil shafts. Still a few months out from swinging a club, however,
  20. For those that went from wedge flex or stiff Flex to graphite regular in your wedges how was your transition? What did you do? What were your considerations when making the switch?
  21. I have a set of Ultra 45, too. They have the same shaft and I was able to get all but two of the shafts out. I don't know what is going on. I would certainly like to get those shafts out and sell the heads.
  22. I have a Cleveland RTX wedge on an auction site and it has nearly 400 views with several bids and watchers. I will not get specific as I am not advertising the auction here. It is generic enough that you cannot look for this particular wedge to know which is mine. It has far more views than a Vokey I also have listed. What is so special about the RTX wedge? I am really at a loss as to why there is so much view traffic. What am I missing?
  23. What Cobra models have interchangeable adapters? Looking to shaft-experiment and want to pick up a shaft or two for my Fly Z+. Some shaft adapters are for the F6 or King or whatever. What stock heads and OEM adapter will also fit my Fly Z+?
