  1. Have to echo all that Kenny said. In all likelihood there will be very little difference between two. Hitting down is definitely a distance killer that I struggle with. Getting that attack angle up will not only help get the ball flight up, but also slightly lower spin which should help distance and roll out. Sounds like you have a good driver for you and with a few swing tweaks you'll be seeing the distance gains you're hoping for! Oh and welcome to the forum! Glad your reached out and hope you're able to get all the answers here!
  2. I think that is where the issue comes from. Having 4 or 5 would make it feel less like taking a big step back and offer a better experience for the whole membership.
  3. I'm sure this was already mentioned somewhere earlier or asked, but how many different options for tee boxes do you have? The courses I play normally have 4, however I have played courses that have 6 or 7 and do their best to get everyone to play off the proper tee boxes.
  4. Why does it say "The Body Shop" Yeah, don't trust and if there is a way to report them I would do that as well.
  5. I saw this package on sale for their Black Friday deal and I'll just say this. I would have no issues playing it, I just think it would be stupid hard to find at times wouldn't it?
  6. Excited for what you're doing here Rob. As we talked about I won't be able to join as i had hoped to, but am truly looking forward to hearing the stories and adventures this year. If we could ever make a Cabot series work I would be delighted! Appreciate all the work you do for our community and taking on this work/challenge!
  7. Going to go for a couple lessons in January. My December is too busy to even get to the range so I'll take some time off and look to come back strong in January.
  8. Txg finally did a iCrossover review. Had a good view in them overall and pointed out the importance of the name change as well which makes sense. Going from a g series to i series it tells in a simpler way who it is targeted for. Hybrids falling more in the g series. Btw Matty with 150 ball speed!
  9. I'm getting a little frightened. This kid loves to run and when he starts on his own it is going to be so and busy. The dogs won't know what to do with themselves either! VID-20221119-WA0004.mp4
  10. So cold. Between wind and how dry it is definitely a interesting cold compared to the east coast. However some areas see -40c or colder. East coast is more in the -15-20 c range but is wet and just as windy.
  11. Pretty sure in the last month i saw several YouTubers make videos on them. One being a rainbow finish. In terms of performance they seemed to perform okay.
  12. I actually have to apologize. It is this thread just earlier on. Could have sworn it was another one.
  13. I can't really say for sure, but checking out my TSi3 headcover and it is very light and of similar structure as well. It also has the made in China badge so I imagine it is good?
  14. No turkey dinner here, but hope everyone enjoys their Thanksgiving weekend!
  15. For me it is amazing how quickly PXG diversified. It seems like only a little while ago they were the premium of premium and super expensive and now with how affordable they are its truly great. Pricing is what it is. PXG has always been different and run by their own rules per say so the fact prices move up and down aren't that big of a shock. I am happy with the price I got my 0211 driver and if I found out that tomorrow it dropped another $50 or more I wouldn't be disappointed. Maybe this is something that catches on with more OEMs to get their products out there door quicker right off the hop and then prices go to a "normal" price point?
  16. I have the standard Fubuki ZT 60 blah blah blah and I got a kuro kage black 50 reg as my Otto Phlex, then the other was one that I feel is more suited to me which is a Fujikura Speeder Pro 74 stiff. I hit say 20 balls with each and my initial impressions were as follows. Both very straight (the Speed pro is CB ish) and I didn't have my big right hook miss with either. I had the Tsi3 set up in B2 which is 1 up (playing 10*) and fade, weight neutral. The flight though was where I saw a huge different. The Kuro Kage is simply so much higher. Like 20 feet difference on impression. Just an entirely different window and didn't feel whippy at all either. Definitely felt more head weight as it isn't a CB shaft, but good. Ball speeds were similar. Again this was just initial and the numbers I got were preliminary. Nothing concrete. I am hoping to get to the range tomorrow and get a better set of data for everyone between these two. It is clear that the Fubuki isn't quite for me.
  17. I went on a search for it this morning and found nothing. Hoping someone has it recorded or something.
  18. If someone anyone could find and clip the video here it may help aid the discussion.
  19. I would encourage us to not go down this argument again as it has been discussed (argued) at length in prior threads which have had to be locked. If you really want to see the argument I will be more than happy to send you the link to the thread. I agree that addition of LM and more data centric technology has also aided in distance gains. I won't add in my thoughts about if golfers are more fit or stronger now than they were prior, as again it has been discussed and there are some who are very passionate about their sides.
  20. I'm eagerly awaiting my NLU pro shop order. It's in the country now so hopefully late today or tomorrow it will arrive!
  21. I don't recall all the details, but there was a cancellation with Serena Williams as well for the same dinner. She admitted it was awful that it happened and expressed her appreciation for all that the sponsor had done and more. Yes, not a good look and very unfortunate that it happened so hopefully there will be some mending afterwards.
  22. I've looked and can't find the tape anywhere so take my opinion with a grain of salt. However if there is n official watching I trust and choose to believe that nothing wrong was done.
  23. Insert sarcasm: payoff the grounds crew to set your tees way way back for a couple rounds so it's difficult to even reach a fairway
  24. Apparently there was a lot of miscommunication. Michelle Wie on the NLU podcast went into it a little and I guess there was a communication breakdown between the tour and the players. Hopefully no lasting damage!
