  1. Congrats! If you don't mind lets see a full Whats in Your Bag with some photos of those gorgeous irons!
  2. I never got a chance to finish it with some other things interrupting me, but I loved his philosophy on several things that he went over in the early stages. Great guest!
  3. So after my original order of shafts came damaged I went through and waited to find something that I wanted again and found a good combo. For the 3 wood (Cobras) I ordered a Fujikura Motore X F3 (So happy to find this) was $45! Driver (Titleist) KURO KAGE Black 50 Driver Shaft / Regular Flex for the Otto Phlex Challenge Fujikura Speeder Pro 74 Driver Shaft / Stiff Flex for what will likely be the gamer as I do prefer something that is more CB like and this fits the bill although it is a touch heavier. A TS3 head because well I could and at least I have another head for one of those shafts. Womens set for Lys! Full kit for $40 as its used but in great condition so happy there. Now the wait and hope that it all comes in one piece.
  4. Still working on swing changes. I really should go to an instructor, however will wait till January for that. I feel small progress, but certainly not really easy to do on your own.
  5. Do you have any shot tracking system that may tell you where you are strongest and where you could improve the most? That could help determine which ball may suit your game the best.
  6. Rain with a side of rain along with a little more rain before it rains again.
  7. The under reported and kinda tbd with Liv is viewer numbers. They were so low! If it was a tv show it would be cancelled after the first few episodes. Now they had to pay to get on a network (unheard of for sports) so those numbers may be the most telling. Liv golf seems like the match series to me. Had some story and intrigue at the beginning and now I completely forget it's even going on unless i see something here about it. They have to funds to sustain themselves for a long time. However will any of these current players see s second contract?
  8. Wish I could give you a recommendation. Unfortunately haven't been to either altho both are on my to-do list. Normally sites like Expedia or booking.com and such have decent reviews on those things. 7vevused booking.com a fair bit and found good deals on resorts and golf resorts all over Europe.
  9. It's been brought up to them and we have given this thread to Bennett to promote so time will tell!
  10. Layers and more layers for me. I don't mind playing when it is cold. Don't really like playing when it is wet. That being said when its cold I am just sure that I layer up appropriately so I can find that comfort zones for when I want to flexible enough and still warm enough. Oh and have a ton of coffee with me!
  11. Haven't watched it yet as I have a busy morning, but on my agenda for later today!
  12. Going to try my next round with the new to me putter. With really wet conditions and slower greens I think the Fetch could be right in its element. Really excited to use this putter. Incredible the difference in feel and weighting compared to the strokelab, however this has always been a putter I gravitated towards so I think it will be a good addition and may even take over top spot permanently!
  13. This one may sounds stupid or not as relevant, however important to me is good shoes. Cheaper shoes that don't have great comfort, fit and waterproofness are top of my list.
  14. I'm with you in the Range finder search or wishlist. I have actually never owned one and am getting a little tired of Arccos so for me seems like best fit for the upcoming season.
  15. PGA and Masters are not "open" championships.
  16. He has been on a tear since last July ish. Nice to see him in form. I wonder what clicked for him?
  17. Looks like an amazing trip so far. Super jealous and yes I've already looked up flights and dates to see if i can make something work! Really appreciate you posting all the photos and keeping us updated!
  18. Wow Glad everyone and the dogs were okay. Thanks for sharing this story as well
  19. First congrats and welcome to the forum! I have used both. Prefer the srixon. The avx worked well but think it was a little too low spin on driver. The tour response from tm was another good ball. Other factor was price. The AVX is easily the most expensive of the bunch.
  20. I will add that with some drivers who really should be gone (Latifi and sorry Mic) or sitting out and some newer talent coming in it should provide some further excitement. I still wish Stroll would be punted, but we all know that will never happen. If not for how some of the cars and teams develop the new drivers entering the grid will make for some more stories and interesting pairings along with hopefully a more exciting midfield while Merc, RB and Ferrari all hopefully contend for the title.
  21. Me actually being able to stay out of that LIV thread after I've said I'll never post there again...
  22. We are all for healthy debate here. LIV is a divisive topic and one that there is very little middle ground on. Greg Norman has repeatedly lied to his LIV players about various things whether it was in his pitch to get them to go or where they currently stand in OWGR. Had Norman been correct in everything he told them the LIV portion of play would just be an add on to their schedule and you would have seen LIV players at regular events, including the FedEx Cup. They would also have OWGR points already secured. I am not a LIV fan, but can see where some come from and enjoy it. It definitely is not for me, however a large portion of that is to do with how they present themselves. Very arrogant, bullish, pushy and abrasive. I believe these are all things within Gregs personality has rubbed off on the players. There is a lot of evidence of the wrong or improper things Greg has said or told players he has brought over and I feel for the early adopters of LIV who have now been cast aside for larger names. That being said reports are swirling that Greg could be on the outs: https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10055328-report-greg-norman-could-be-out-as-liv-golf-ceo-ex-taylormade-exec-mark-king-linked So maybe that will help their brand if it comes true. LIV is denying these reports for the record. Also PGA Tour has done nothing wrong not allowing those players to play on their tour. The rules were simple, you can go and play LIV if you want. Nobody is stopping you, however don't expect to come back. For me where I have hesitation in reading your posts is one, you simply only post in this thread. Fair enough if this is the only golf topic that interests you here, however the forum has a lot more to offer and I would encourage you to seek out other threads if you have other golfing areas of interests. Second and is fine as you can state your opinion, however there is little support to arguments made. Whether it is continually on the Hideki train saying he will leave and create his own Japanese team or ignoring what has been reported, shown (see Greg Normans plea at congress) along with other things that are highly speculative or not even being reported on. Again which you can post, that is up to you, however it gives me hesitation in reading them. I will say that on this forum this conversation around LIV has been very civil and for the most part productive even if the same conversations keep happening over and over. I wouldn't want to know the response or reception you would receive if you posted many of these same things on other golfing forums. I am very hesitant to post in this thread anymore. I have stated where I stand and will chime in when necessary as I am now, however would encourage anyone to do a search whether in this thread or on google to see if they can find some answers prior to posting what could be false absolute statements. Opinions are welcomed, but recognize with a topic like LIV there are going to be strong feelings on both sides so don't expect the warm and cuddly responses that are often found in other places on the forum.
  23. Something that is important to keep in mind is the trial literally could take several years to clear up. I highly recommend listening to the NLU pod where they have a lawyer go over the process and what is normal in these types of cases. She specializes in the type of law which this is surrounding and explains it very well. They have a second lawyer as well in another pod which goes over similar issues with how long this could take and goes into some other insights. It shouldn't be hard to find, but here is a screenshot for it.
  24. I'm with you there on plugged in golf. They have some great shaft reviews. The idea or thought makes sense. I guess we for some reason gravitate towards clubs more similar to the pros and they use blades and less forgiving irons traditionally and therefore have the mentality that when we get better that's what they do so we should be doing something similar?
