  1. I think a lot og us took the plunge on a previous version of the 0211 (awaiting mine). I'm not sure the look does much for me in the driver. It's fine, nothing off putting, but also kinda just meh. There are next to no Dealers around here to test to i will have to rely on the test of you to let me know how these perform!
  2. Apologies @DukeStKing I attempted at merging the threads together and it lost the poll Silly system. So created a new one under your name and linked the main thread. Again apologies!
  3. I just replaced mine this season and had my Ping i210 from 2018 and that was probably around 400 rounds. That being said they were still in great condition and more than usable or fine (cast vs forged), however I wanted to change things up. Previously I had a set if Ping iE1 which were a couple years old. I would say around 3-4 years on average.
  4. Unfortunately do to a significant increase in spam we had lock the pm ability to accounts with 10 or more posts. As soon as the 10 posts mark is crossed that feature will auto unlock. We are also looking at a new bst platform which would resolve this. Apologies for the inconvenience.
  5. We are going to do our best to start promoting more threads via twitter and from what I have heard we will get a few bumps/retweets from the main MGS twitter account too!
  6. I meant to look this up to find it and completely forgot about it. 100% going to see what availability will be like here and try to pick a copy up. Gotta give Ivan a bit of golfing exposure!
  7. I don't own one and have only used a demo. I know at the beginning there was talk of the face paint being somewhat meh and vulnerable to fading and or scratches (although the poster who claimed this was never able to provide photos). The demo I used has been played a lot as it is their only LH head and it looks like new. Glad to see yours is doing well and at least here I haven't seen much from anyone to claim otherwise with how the Stealth face has faired over its first season.
  8. I can recall seeing this on a NLU video and put it on my bucket list to go. Anyone here played here? Anyone done both here and Bandon and have a preference between the two? I don't believe I would be going this season or next, but would be looking at maybe something in 2024 being a real possibility!
  9. Agree with @Kenny B that should never be embarrassed to play forward tees. I should play whites, however nearly everyone I get paired out up with at my local course plays yellows so I join them. It doesn't make the course that much easier, however it does take some danger out of play for me. In the end as long as the golfer is having fun and enjoying themselves then that is what matters. Where they play from is really secondary, especially at the beginning!
  10. Gotta love seeing some of these guys having fun with some side sports during their down season. Something I definitely would have gone to watch had it been closer! https://www.golfdigest.com/story/jordan-spieth-pickleball-charity-match-scottie-scheffler-dirk-nowitzki-john-isner-video It does make me wonder who would be the best actual pairs and who would be best at other sports. Such as who would be the best at baseball or basketball?
  11. DP World Tour has some of the best golf content that is kinda side to the actual golf pros play. It makes so many more of their players feel likeable when you get to see them do fun stupid things that we would often do. Taylormade does this really well too. The dunk tank with Morikawa being one of my all time favorites! Nice to see this side of the players and get to know them outside of those intense tournament situations.
  12. I think for me this off season I am going to dive a bit more into golf ball testing and what will work best for me. This means both budget and game. Vice seems at least for the moment the best bet, but I am going to give Sugar a try despite its awful LAB rating and a few other DTC brands that are here. The majority of golf balls here cost 50 CFH or more per dozen with Pro V1 at 70 CHF or more (CHF and USD are about the same right now). I did try a local provider who made the putters (I did a article HERE) which you can chcek and said I would update on the golf ball. Well it was bad in terms of feel, super clicky, hard and just not appealing at all. So even though they are super cheap ... well they are super cheap.
  13. Trying going to settings and checking your content behavior. There are 3 options for how to view content. Most recent, latest unread and something else. This may be why. There have always been some users that have mentioned this, however we did not change anything on the settings to affect this. When major updates are run there are things that update which we cannot control, however going back there should not have been anything to change how you view your content. Hopefully in those settings you are able to find the solution. Of course if i notice it or anything like it happening I'll do what i can to troubleshoot myself.
  14. For me i want to lock in some technique changes. This means video and range/net time. At some point when I have an actual plan i will do a full thread about it with the changes that i want to work on. The other part will be grip and making it a bit looser as it is pretty strong right now.
  15. Seems like a lot of places are getting hit pretty hard. Thoughts for all those effected. Although no flooding we are in a period where we are getting heavy rain often which is causing havoc on a few courses in the low lands.
  16. A lot of LAB love this season! Kinda wish I was able to take part on the test earlier this year.
  17. Check out the various videos above. All are free! As we are a online community it is a bit more difficult to suggest offline what may work and would often cost more in terms of books or lessons.
  18. I'll admit not my favourite youtuber, but SAS (he seems a bit bouncy) did have this interesting video about his used fitting business startup. It has some good points and does mention it is more popular in the US which I am curious about. There isn't much in terms of used fitting here, nearly all brand new. He makes some good suggestions on questions to ask and what to think about and look for in used fitting club situation. Stock may be limited of course, but also this wouldn't necessarily be for many and more tailored for budget golfers or new golfers.
  19. I think a lot of us are in this similar boat with tweaking their drivers vs going through full fits. Found this one interesting and well of course happy to see Matt back with TXG
  20. I am looking at it as it is so close. Don't think I can afford the prices though to go. The timing is great and I would love to, but it is on the expensive side of things. That being said I am still going to give it strong consideration and may look at the volunteer route instead. Thankfully I would drive so I could stay a little further away if needed to find somewhere to stay. Not on facebook so can't join the group but certainly keep this thread updated!
  21. Liv does have a limited field of 48 so they can only accept so many and they continue to try and be slick and backdoor their way into OWGR and have their players speak loads of nonsense which isn't helping them gain any points in the eyes of the public. More just dividing those thoughts to greater extremes. Have to feel bad for the guys who are 40-48 and when bigger names come in they get the boot and are left out to dry. Some may think the PGA tour is leaving lower end players out with the new strategy and events, but at least their fields have 72 plus. Last thing with two basically rookies winning last week which one was more exciting? Tom Kim or Chacarra. I know how I feel about it, but am curious what others may think?
