  2. Awesome!! Sent from my SM-G935P using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  3. I loved the HX56s, but I have not been impressed with anything Callaway had put out since with respect to the other premium balls. Though on a cool day the superhot or whatever they call it seems to perform decently. Sent from my SM-G935P using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  4. Most of these on the list I agree with - Top Flite XLs, Warbird, Slazenger, and the Kmart balls (Nitro, Intech). No one has mentioned the Nike Mojo yet, so I'll add that one. Though I have a soft spot for the classic red Pinnacle. Driver: Titleist 915 D3 w/ Diamana X 70g B4 setting Irons: TaylorMade R7 TP 4-PW S300 shafts 1* upright Titleist Vokey Wedges 50-54-58 Cobra Fly-z 16.5 FW Adams Pro Boxer hybrid 18* 6.5 index, RH, Cleveland, OH
  5. Crazy deal off ebay! A set of 714 CBs for $130. 4-PW and X100 shafts. Going back towards a players iron now that my game is trending in the right direction. Some face wear but still quite an upgrade. 6. I don't want to post the pics (don't know the language rule) but I just got my custom ball markers that resemble Jules Winfield's wallet from Pulp Fiction. 10. I carried a 7 wood for awhile, then I learned (got gud as the kids say) and bagged the 3 iron. But years passed and I struggled with it, so hybrid time. It took a couple tries but I found one that works. An Adams Idea Boxer Pro Gold with Aldila NV-Proto X shaft. Like everything else with this game, need to be patient and work at it. Driver: Titleist 915 D3 w/ Diamana X 70g B4 setting Irons: TaylorMade R7 TP 4-PW S300 shafts 1* upright Titleist Vokey Wedges 50-54-58 Cobra Fly-z 16.5 FW Adams Pro Boxer hybrid 18* 6.5 index, RH, Cleveland, OH
  11. Oh not since last Thursday? Please tell us northerners about the struggle... 12. I play at 6 am may-october. I get my 36 a week and I'm back home just as my wife is waking up. Keeps us both happy. Who needs sleep? She's started playing a bit, so that makes it easier to get 9 during the week too. Driver: Titleist 915 D3 w/ Diamana X 70g B4 setting Irons: TaylorMade R7 TP 4-PW S300 shafts 1* upright Titleist Vokey Wedges 50-54-58 Cobra Fly-z 16.5 FW Adams Pro Boxer hybrid 18* 6.5 index, RH, Cleveland, OH
  13. This year I switched my membership to walking only. Gonna lose those lbs, and save some green. Win win. 14. Almost hit 50 today in NE Ohio. It was soggy but the sun was out and the snow is gone for now. First round of 2018 in the books! 15. Agree with above - I had a X speed driver i played for years and currently bag a fly -z wood set at 16.5 and it just jumps! It seems they've had trouble converting to a true players club maybe? But it's one that works well for a lot if they'd learn to be humble. Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  16. I just read this. Wish I would have picked it up years ago. Sent from my SM-G935P using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  17. Hogan does have good fundamentals and the drawings in the book are top notch. His notes on setup are spot on. Sent from my SM-G935P using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  18. The 4 Penick books are great. And I've read some Bob Rotella if you are looking for help with the mental side. I'm going to disagree with a lot of people here and say avoid the Hogan book for now. Those tips are how to swing like him. Hogan hit a fade, and as most golfers struggle with going right, his instruction could make things worse. Sent from my SM-G935P using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  19. Only 2 sets for me. McGregor Nicklaus Muirfields Taylormade R7 TP is I play the S300 in both. I have my dad's old persimmon McGregor driver and a bullseye putter. Eventually I want to can them all up and build a display rack for them. Sent from my SM-G935P using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  20. The only courses around here that require a cart area the ones that weave through a housing development. Although some of the nicer courses encourage riding, no break for walking. Something like $50 to walk, $55 to ride. Sent from my SM-G935P using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  21. I have the winn fat one on my putter. I'm thinking about a fast super stroke, but my putting has been the best part this season, so I'm not going to do it right now. Sent from my SM-G935P using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  22. You need to get past The Ohio State University BUCKEYES first! #shotsfired Sent from my SM-G935P using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  23. Video games, cards, and reading in the winter. Used to play softball but stopped, and I like to shoot pool, but it seems that's pretty much a dead game. Sent from my SM-G935P using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  24. Talking with the pro about bag set up. Maybe add a 50* Vokey to fix the 120ish gap and combine the 3i and 21* fairway into a hybrid. Sent from my SM-G935P using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  25. Maybe it's the brands? Callaway is super popular and Ping has a long time following. Cobra isn't one of the old country club brands. Personally, I only sign up for things I'm interested in. I skipped the Steelheads and am not signing up for the Epic. Not a Callaway guy and would be biased against the product. Not good for objective testing.
