Played in my first best ball tournament last Friday. My shot of the day was making a 30 foot putt for birdie using Aimpoint. We shot 8 under which is really good considering we had a group of 3 players...me as a 9 hc, friend as a 14 hc and random guy as 22 hc. We made tons of putts over 12 feet for birdie using Aimpoint I taught them all how to do it. It was the most fun I have had on the golf course in a long time. I missed the long drive by 4 yards thanks TrueGolfFit!!! One Length irons performed great thanks Cobra Golf!!!! I feel like if I can find a protractor I might be Bryson for halloween!!

First round with my full bag back together and my driver got me in trouble on this hole. It was back to business as usual for me where I could've been 3-5 shots better but just wasn't.
 
Anywho, this was a definite highlight for the round and the irons I'm testing:
 

 
This was one hell of a shot. Had to get under the limbs of the tree I was under but over the next tree (limbs in my back swing too.) Played a fade into wind from the right. Couldn't see most of the flight but I picked up a little when it was above tree #2 and saw it land center of the green and pull back.
 
Didn't make the putt, but it wasn't that easy of a putt either (18ft from wrong tier). I consider this a par saved because I basically put myself in jail with the tee ball.
 
 
 

Picked up some I200's with Steelfiber's that have been hit twice for only $400. 
Some people must always have the latest tech I suppose. 

Absolutely. That annoys the heck out of me because they are just trying to dupe the mods into thinking they are active members so they can be picked for "free stuff". They'll take their free stuff and never even show up on the forums again. 
I don't even bother responding to those people because I know they don't care, and if they don't care, I certainly don't care. 

Anyone else notice when there’s testing opportunities “members” come out of everywhere to “participate”. Then when the testers are announced its back to the same 30-40 guys. I know I can’t be the only one seeing this, am I?

First hole in One ever today. 173 yard Par 3 Forth at Ko’olina Golf Course in Hawaii. Slightly up hill so I pulled a 5 iron. The ball was on the flag from the time it left my club. I thought it would be close but was amazed as it dropped in the cup.

Passing through. Came in early to see a HS buddy who is the golf pro at Gibson Bay in Richmond. Working at UofL Saturday.

Went out to Royal Hawaiian Golf Course here on Oahu. Weather was iffy on that side of the island and the course was very empty so I decided I'd try my hand at speed golf (with a cart). You cannot walk the course but you can run all over the fairways. I finished 27 holes in less than three hours. Two hours and 23 minutes to be exact. I felt like a hobo with a ham sandwich........I was in heaven. Final score 79.
 
When I returned my cart I was both drenched in sweat and covered in mud. I received quit a few strange looks which made it all the more better

Played lousy today....shot 43/44:87........8/14 Fairways, long drive was 214 yds., 9/18 GIR, 4 3-putts.
