Did he give it a draw bias to make it play similarly to the Z? I'd ask if you could give it a couple swings with some tape to see if you like it or love it.

Play any iron that is forgiving and gives you confidence to play well. I learned this lesson a few years ago...I played Titleist 670 & 962b irons for years...I could have played a more forgiving set and played just as well if not better. I'd also add...Since you've played Hogan's I would strongly suggest you include the Ben Hogan PTx Pro and Player's Combo irons. You and I are similar handicaps and the combo's are A-O-K

After a deep dive, lots of reading and comparative analysis I pulled the trigger on a SIM2 with a Tensei 1k White 60x. Of all the sources, TXG's YouTube videos were profoundly helpful. I wish I had been a viewer much sooner as Ian shares a very similar swing and profile. I was fascinated by how many are choosing the 50x over the 60 and frankly, I gave it some thought but the gross weight just wouldn't do it for me; the 60 was as low as I wanted to go. So it should be here in about a week...Photos when it arrives...

I've come to love the 6th at Greystone where I try to play most often. It's 140 from the blue tees over water with the left side offering a proper bailout. I like to play a cut off the left side and let it fall into the hole. Wind was down and I chose a hard wedge over a soft 9 and hit a super pretty cut that landed about 4' from the pin. Made my 2 and followed that up with a double on 7

Ho Hum 39/39 today back at one of the tougher courses that I try to play. Went as a twosome with a friend from work and for some reason, the 90* weather scared off most people. Lipped out an eagle, 2 birdies, 2 doubles, lots of laughs.

Just left Dicks House of Sport to pick up some soccer gear for my daughter and rolled a few with the 2021 line. Like you, I couldn't believe how NICE the fetch was. My only wish was they made it for a slight arc stroke because the feel was like nothing I've ever felt.
