So @Josh Parkerand @Coulterwhat are your thoughts on turf interaction?
I think this may have been talked about before but curious how your experience is comparing to mine.  These soles are thicker than my gamers and I’m not sure if that’s supposed to help or hurt coming out of the rough?  I’ve been playing from the rough quite a bit the way I’ve been driving it lately…

This starts to get a little removed from a test and review, but I thought I'd share a dilemma the arrival of the PXGs are creating for me. As I said in a previous post, I'm really really enamored with my Gen 7 P and Sugar Daddy III wedge setup at the bottom of the bag, but if you did the math then you're tracking that's 5 wedges in the bag from PW - 60. (PW, GW, 52, 56, 60.) 9 clubs left...the remaining XP & P combo set is 4-9. That's 3 spots in the bag for my putter, driver, 3 wood, and 7 wood.  One too many.  And so, is it 4 iron or 7 wood?


As you can imagine, the 7 wood (especially with the Ventus Blue 6s with Velocore shaft) is a blast to hit; about the only thing I can't really do with it is keep it low. the 4 XP is pretty fun to hit too, but the 7 wood is certainly easier to hit. The 7 wood is a 230 club, the 4 iron is 215-220.  What's likely to emerge is that these are going to alternate depending on how much wind I expect during a given round of play, but I know there are going to be times I wish I had one of them in the bag and I won't.
First world problems.

What are your thoughts? Mine are take my money. Love it!
 

USPS comes through for me today.
Ordered the bundle and a second fairway cover for my hybrid.
Will see the course on Thursday for the first time, and I am sure there will be many questions about them there too.

I mean...ignore that I need to clean my irons from Friday's round, and man-oh-man does this look about as good as I could have hoped.
