  1. The problem is that it becomes an infinite loop, a $100 at a time LOL.
  2. I think its more that the new shiny thing comes a long and you convince yourself that it is the holy grail and you have to have it. Then you buy it, find its not the holy grail and then sell it so you can buy the next holy grail.
  3. About the same time I posted this, a WRX thread was posted about "would you buy a $750 shaft". It went sideways real fast and is a sh*tshow now about the legitimacy of the TXG guys.
  4. Someone needs to Kakao talk this company to get more info on how we buy it LOL: thegolf7
  5. Someone on Golf WRX will for sure pay $750 for it.
  6. Are you going to game it or is this a wall hanger?
  7. Normally you can get the 6 ball pack for 9.99 from Golf Discount, but seems like folks are hoarding golf balls at the moment and they are sold out of those.
  8. I sent an email a few days ago to the "contact" email address on the MGS website and mentioned this thread. I received a response back from Adam (or on Adam's behalf) asking which bag tag we were interested. I replied and am waiting to hear back.
  9. Thats a great looking putter right there.
  10. Let us know how it goes with this 4 wood when you get it
  11. @xOldBenKenobiX - Dude, you won!!!
  12. Did any of your specs change between the two fittings?
  13. By the time durability will become a factor, I will have for sure already lost that ball
  14. In addition to the bag tag, I really want one of these: https://store.mygolfspy.com/products/mygolfspy-winter-hat-white
  15. Looks really nice. I am intrigued by the Edel fitting process.
  16. Snell balls work well for me. I just placed an order for 5 dozen because i need some yellow balls.
  17. I do notice that a short thumb grip does physically reduce the range of motion of my wrist hinge, which prevents me from overhinging, which is an instructor-validated issue that i have
  18. I am continuing to learn that there are nuances to the grip that I didn't even know about. The most recent nuance is long left thumb vs. short. I didn't even know this was a thing. I have always used a long left thumb and i have noticed that it tends to cause my left wrist to cup pretty much no matter what and overhinging of the wrists. I think the short left thumb will help, from dry swings, its getting me to a better position at the top.
  19. Practiced some dry swings today trying to get more depth in the swing. This time, this is not a random youtube tip i am trying. I have been told by multiple instructors to focus on more depth, but along the way i have strayed away from it. For me, I am seeing now how more depth reduces the cupping in my left wrist at the top and will help square up the club better.
  20. Oh yeah, forgot that I have paid over $150 for a single headcover.
  21. What do you think your most excessive golf purchase has been? It doesn't need to be the most expensive item overall, but maybe expensive for what it is. For example, I once bought a $75 Bettinardi divot tool when I could use a tee to fix divots.
  22. The rational side got to me, I ended up canceling the Pars and Stripes order. Although it was a good deal, it was still $400 with tax. The rational side of me says I should at least try something out if it is $400.
  23. Anything you could ever want to know about the G425 series: https://www.pingg425.com/
  24. Thanks. I will likely keep the head but sell the shaft. I am intrigued by the Speedzone Xtreme head but don't think I will fit into the Ventus Blue.
  25. Sometimes I buy things because the price is good. Not a rational thing to do but i guess that is why i am a frequent poster in this thread
