  1. Assuming my Pars and Stripes order goes through, do I: 1. Play it as-is 2. Keep the head and sell the Ventus Blue shaft - not sure how well I would fit into a Ventus Blue, i play a Red right now 3. Sell the whole thing and make a few dollars by selling components separately and then use those proceeds to buy a fitted driver
  2. What length and lie angle did you get fitted into?
  3. I customized and got the 349, not sure if they changed it after i ordered.
  4. I think PGA Tour Superstore made a pricing mistake. I know the Cobra Speedzone and Speedzone Xtremes are now down to $349.99, but I was just able to buy a Speedzone Xtreme Pars and Stripes with a Ventus Velocore Blue 6S for $349.99. Let's see if they cancel the order.
  5. Played terribly but shot of the day was on a par 3. It played about 205 today, uphill. Pretty much anything more than 5 yards short of the green is death, your ball will roll back down the hill up to 50 yards back. Normally I hit 3 hybrid, but i pulled it out of the bag to try out my new TM 3 DHY. Not comfortable yet with the 3 DHY so I pulled out my 4 hybrid. Needed it to carry at least 190. At times I can hit my 4 hybrid that far, but usually its mid trajectory with roll out that would cause the ball to go over the green. This time, took a pretty big swing and hit a high towering, soft landing hybrid, carried it at least 190 and left me with a 22 foot putt for birdie. Missed the birdie putt but made the par putt.
  6. Overall, played poorly today. Front 9, was getting too quick with my tempo with driver, was hitting big push fades and push slices. Also struggled with hitting pushes with irons as well. Putting wasn't great today. Greens were aerated earlier in the week, so the greens were still sandy. Just really hard to putt when the greens are sandy, bumpy, and wet from a lot of rain.
  7. I had nothing on mind for a bit but an hour ago i started pondering one length irons and now that thought is in my head.
  8. Trying to convince myself why one length is not a good idea. 7 and 8 iron are probably the irons i hit the best. 6 iron is ok once in a while. 5 iron, not even sure why i leave it in the bag. Going to try them out at some point. I think that if it worked out, I would keep a sand wedge and lob wedge at traditional lengths.
  9. I don't need a new putter, but that Bettinardi Queen B6 for 299 is calling my name. Need to prevent myself from buying...
  10. Although I have fancy tastes, this is out of my league price was per iron.
  11. I would love 16 clubs, gives me more stuff to buy. Do I need 16 clubs, absolutely not.
  12. At my home course, I hit driver on every non-par 3. Not confident at the moment with any other club off the tee unless we are talking hit a 7 iron or above, which wouldn't make sense in my mind.
  13. Just got a Cleveland Soft Premier #11 putter. Note, did not purchase it, but was selected to be a tester on WRX. Its rolling pretty well so far indoors.
  14. I'm waiting for you to move on from the Hot Metal/Hot Metal Pro set and then i'll buy them from you
  15. I want to try the Mizuno shaft optimizer even if i am not buying Mizuno clubs, curious to see what shafts it recommends.
  16. The Mizuno optimizer is just for shafts, and I think just for shafts offered by Mizuno
  17. One thing I did not like about the fittings that I have had to date is that the places I went to did not have the universal adapters on the clubheads and shafts, so I was limited to whatever shafts they had for that particular OEM. That is my fault for not asking about that first.
  18. Those are some beastly weights, especially the 70 pound dumbells on shoulder press. Looks like a great workout.
  19. I think I have an abnormal appetite. I ate a 32 oz ribeye one time in 5 minutes, no problem. Also had appetizers, bread, sides, and dessert to go along with it. Still no problem.
  20. I am doing the Golf WOD program. I bulked probably a little too hard during Covid, so going to try to drop a little body fat while increasing strength.
  21. Is this what you were looking for: https://mygolfspy.com/most-wanted-golf-ball/ "Also, cheaper (2-piece) balls and matte finish balls are affected more significantly by moisture."
  22. I wonder if in the future, there will be some sort of AI-driven fittings. Not like the TrueGolfFit which asks a bunch of questions, but something like a smarter version of the Mizuno optimizer that recommends clubhead and shaft based on your individual swing.
  23. For me, and others that can afford it, there doesn't need to be an "OR". You can buy new clubs and get lessons.
