  1. Yeah maybe not translation from bicep curls to golf swing, but shows you are generally strong overall.
  2. Saw this infographic posted on a MGS article. I definitely leave it in the bunker more than 21% including one recent time that it took 4 shots to get out. I guess I need to fix my bunker play...
  3. Yeah, thats a lot of applicants. Announcements for these tests do get posted on Instagram and Twitter, and also by email if you have given MGS your email address in the past. As a result, there are a lot of non-message board participants seeing these emails and social media posts and then jumping on board.
  4. picked up another Stability shaft, this one to put in my DF 2.1. price was too good to pass up on the shaft.
  5. Many contests on instagram require tagging one or more people to enter. If you are okay with being tagged in a contest on instagram, please post your instagram handle in this thread and i will update this original post with the list: @derrickftw @xOldBenKenobiX @tpoole22 @heath_steele16 @tchats89 @rickp1031 @lacassemark @jordan.daniel13 @cnosil @rbsiedsc @the_life_of_kurt @bucketsandbirds @david84dvm @hayesweidman @KCLeonardGolf @schnaubenx @apolloshowl @parkb1 @golfinnutinva @luisfernandezgolfer @graemecoops @oapff_3 @jacob_zprinzky @___shankster @ty.sauer @jbentley47 @jon.morales @Flood25 @mattf1971 @juspoole @greg_garner @jmikecpa @edingc @christopher.rants @jmullin3975 @Gh05t______ @golf.hack19 @matt_virgo @jeffsnow68 @ChiefMikeOfficer @J.Mayer.USC08 @kpcasey @carlharsch @HammerH69
  6. I generally don't win things, but will keep trying.
  7. @Tpoole22 - dude you just won the Honma contest today too. you and @xOldBenKenobiX are on a roll.
  8. Yeah, seems like it has been like that lately.
  9. I also have had graphite shafts on the brain for a while too.
  10. Continuing to plug along with the workouts. Had like a three week streak where I was burned out and then got a sinus infection, but other than that, getting workouts in. I definitely don't follow some of the cardio portions of the workouts though. I think i increase my heart rate enough based on the strength exercises, so I skip things like the 400 meter runs, etc.
  11. This sounds like something i need for finding balls in general. I lose too many balls that are not that far off.
  12. It looks nice but i dont putt well with these types of putters that have a lot of different shapes going on (says the guy who just bought a LAB Golf DF 2.1).
  13. Figured out my issues over the past couple of days in working out the small kinks. First major cause of me pulling putts was posture, which was causing me to cut across the ball. Once that was fixed, then the balls started going a bit right. Next I moved the ball more forward in my stance (this was a recommendation from LAB). Now its all good at least for carpet putting. Won't get the distance control worked out until I putt on a real green.
  14. Still trying to get used to this putter. First, you definitely can still push and pull putts like any other putter. Second, there are some suggested changes to grip pressure and ball position, so still trying to get a feel for those. A suggested drill is to putt with thumbs off the grip and that does help. One thing I did notice is the roll that the putter putts on the ball is excellent. I have Eyeline black and white balls for putting drills so you can see the roll of the ball. No wobbles with this putter, puts a beautiful roll on the ball even if you mishit.
  15. You selling anything else from that big stockpile from that other thread?
  16. The push slices definitely happen for me with driver when my hips start moving first. I hate it.
  17. I have a love/hate relationship with Bulgarian squats. I hate the act of doing them but they get the job done.
  18. If I purposefully try to get my hips moving first, really bad things happen, like really bad. According to that post I linked to, Monte says that yes, the hips do start first, but only by about 0.02 seconds ahead of the arms. I now try to feel that the arms and hips are moving at the same time.
  19. @Fujikura GolfI have been having some struggles recently with my SIM Max with Ventus Red and the ball starting right and ending more right. Been able to somewhat fix it and hit playable shots. Wondering if I go back to my Motore X F3, if maybe it might help reduce my right miss, given it is not quite as stiff in the tip as the Ventus?
  20. Looks like its an image pasted in
  21. Did the P790 test club have plastic or tape on it to protect it? That can really mess with spin on the launch monitors.
  22. Just got mine today. First off, the "factory second" doesn't really have any blemishes to my eye. Second, what kind of wizardry is going on with this putter (i know its torque balanced). It feels so light going back but it goes back on the path i am expecting to go back on.
