I'm curious how I would hit a Player's distance iron. When I go in for a real fitting next year, I will go in with an open mind and not assume I need a SGI iron.

I know this is that what did you buy lately thread, but after wearing my spiked shoes for a few rounds, I don't see a reason to ever buy spikeless again.

This Sim Max I have is a bomber but is very right biased. I thought it was me, but there are two many folks on WRX that are hitting off the planet balls to the right with the Sim and Sim Max.

Part of my problem is that I have a mild case of ADHD. Mild enough that I have always done well in school, but enough that I can lose focus out on the course. I need to develop a more structured routine for myself between shots so that I do it, otherwise who knows what I am thinking about between shots.

I dislike when people are slow. With that said, I probably need to slow down sometimes. I take 0 practice swings. And then sometimes I start rushing myself on the putting green and don't even line up my ball line and then hit it offline.

I need to work on non-driver off the tee. With that said, in my current state, the likeliness of me either topping it off the tee with a fairway wood is about 50%. Maybe I should try hybrid off the tee instead.

I play whatever tees my playing partners want to play (at my home course), unless they want to play from the tips. There is not a big difference in yardage between the 3 at my home course. But that is just specific to my home course.

I am a high toe hitter. Sometimes too far toe side. End up being super low spin with driver.

Don't do it. Its easy to completely wreck the shaft if you don't use a puller.

Yeah my short putting and putting in general is no good right now. Going to try a putting online lesson from Potters Putting (Marcus Potters).

Best shot of the day was a 145 yard 9 iron to 3 feet. And then i proceeded to miss the 3 footer.

Shot a 100 today. Was not a very good ballstriking or putting round. Every now and then had some good shots. On a positive, im hitting my drives farther. Got a few out there 260 plus, longest being 274. Now i should stop focusing on power, need to work on cleaner ballstriking and putting.

I think I am going to try an online putting lesson. I'm thinking a putting lesson is won't screw up my putting, there is only up from where my putting is currently at.

Im just feeling like this will be a good club for me. Can’t wait for it to come out

There are certain ebay sellers where you can get good deals and then flip. Quickshipgolf is one.

For me, I have worked with a few different instructors, one I would consider as an average instructor and one I would consider one of the best instructors out there. With the "average" instructor, to try to fix my steep swing, we kept working on drills and swing thoughts that were all about "swing to the right". Spent probably 6 months on this and I think it actually made my swing worse because to swing more to right field, i kept making my backswing more and more to the inside. This instructor never addressed the inside backswing issue. The top notch instructor helped me to identify the root cause of steepness, and that the root cause was backswing and backswing position and that steepness in transition was a symptom of the problem. Very quickly during that single lesson, I was able to demonstrate the ability to execute a much more shallow downswing when I focused on backswing position. Now, I still can revert back to my steep tendencies, but I am aware that I need to focus on getting my backswing into the right position.

Perfect timing, this also came today to go along with my Triple Track. I don't want to buy the Callaway balls, so picked this up.

I'm one of the younger guys and I was paired up with an older couple last weekend. My drives were probably 100 yards past the older gentleman I was playing with. From any distance from greater than 75 yards, he would often hit low line drives that didn't go very far. But man, once he was within 75 yards, it was a night and day difference. He was hitting nice soft pitch shots close to the hole, chipping the ball near the hole, etc.

Wow, a putter shaft should never come out of the hosel. Is the insertion depth of the hosel only that small portion of the shaft that is abraded? Because the rest of the shaft looks shiny, at least in this picture.

I have never done it for the purposes of making money. However, I have bought things at cheap prices and then traded them in at a higher value when I was buying new clubs.

Whenever I am not focused and tee the ball higher than my norm, I end up skying it. Usually down the middle of the fairway, but only like 180 yards.

Didn't realize we are about the same height. What is your wrist to floor?
