  1. Nick,

I am in the infant stages of planning a trip so I will probably have a ton of questions if it becomes a reality.

Your trip sound almost exactly like the plan I am thinking of.

Would you mind giving me a  ballpark of the total cost you ended up at.

I am going to try to take my daughter if I can swing it

Glad you had a good trip

    Thanks

    Bill

  2. About a year ago I got fitted for a new set of irons from the nearest Golf Tec, which happens to be in Ft Collins, Co 145 miles away.  I called in advance, Had a nice conversation with one of the coaches.  He set me up with "resident club guru/geek" for an iron fitting cost was $125.00.  I had never been properly fit for any of my clubs so it was all a new experience.  I had an absolute blast.  Alex, my fitter was very knowledgeable, I hit balls for at least 1.5 hours.  We went through a lot of different head/shaft combinations.  You could see the numbers for launch, spin, & decent angle just keep getting better as he eliminated things that would not work. I ended up purchasing a new set of Mizuno 919 HM Pro with Steel Fiber shafts.  I love the new clubs and my elbow doesn't hurt when I play.

    Maybe I got lucky

    Hope this helps

    Bill

I think second swing does a better job with the pictures are usually the actually club ... GG is just stock photos .. it’s always a roll of the dice though with anything used

    What he said 👆

They show actual pictures, (you can zoom in a get a real good look)

I only buy "condition 9" or above, always get what I expect.  They also have a 30 day guarantee.

    I bought Ping Glide 2.0 wedges 50*, 54*, 58* all 9.0 rating for $68.00  each shipped

    They are awesome

Love to play 18 holes. I also really like playing a quick twilight 9 holes after work. Something about twilight golf that is so peaceful. Most I have played is 54 holes in one day.

I’m with you on the twilight golf. Absolutely good for the soul.
Played 72 last year on Mother’s Day.

After a brutal day consisting of 8 hours of telecoms, I had a few of these last night! Smoothest stout I’ve ever had. Plus, you get to watch people’s reactions when you invert the bottle on the pour.

Its definitely a sexy thing to watch when poured!

  6. Well Hello All,

I have been checking out a lot of the reviews and articles for a few months, seems like a cool place to hang out.

    1. How long have you been playing golf? What’s your handicap or normal score?    Playing for 20 years now, hover around 11-13 hcp

    2. What do you love about golf?  So many things, being outside, hanging out with friends, best part was I taught my daughter how to play when she was young, now we are teaching the grand kids.

    3. What brings you to MyGolfSpy? Do you already know any other Spies?   Originally the Ball test, i dont think i know any other spies

    4. Where are you from? What is your home course?  Western Nebraska, play at a municipal course close by

    5. What are the best and worst things about golf in your region?  Wide open spaces, lots of different course types within a few hours drive (some world class). Also the cost is quite a bit less that a lot of places

    6. What do you do for a living?  Customer Service

    7. How’d you pick your user name?  Kind of a bowling reference
