Hit some with this vs the 3 iron again today. I like the feel of my Edel better than this, mainly because I tend to flush it a little more often. The MMC is WAY longer. Today I hit a mound that was at 209 via laser. The ball hit and continued to bound past a good ways!

I recently bought a set of MMC's and am switching out the 4 and 5i with Fli his. I've used the 4 Fli hi for a few range sessions and rounds now. Compared to the MMC 4i, there's more distance, a little more than my 5h as well. It's easier to hit than the MMC as well.

 

I like to measure clubs by how I miss with them and this where the Fli hi really shines for me. Hits near the heel still get out there with a left to right flight that ends up in play albeit short. The combination of being able to hit this like a hybrid and see bad shots still yield playable shots is impressive for a long Iron.

 

Will this replace the hybrids on my bag? I need a lot more time with them before deciding that but considering how accurate they are at this point, I could see getting all these in the bag and leaving a 3h in.

 

I could also see getting Fli his up to the 6i. They look like nice from address so that's not an issue and being able to shape the ball is a plus as well.

Finally got my 3 MMC Fli-Hi back yesterday and I had a chance to hit a few balls with it. I took the advice of my fitter at Club Champion and had it shafted with the Veylix Rome 988 hybrid shaft. From my first few hits with it, it hits bullets! Straight BULLETS! I'll post some pics on here; it looks great with the bright blue shaft. I can't wait to get it on-course and figure out the distance.

I also replaced the SC 4-5 irons with Fli_Hi's, I agree, you have to "tone it down" a little with these,  4-iron was reaching 5-wood lengths if flushed.
