PMookie
At LEAST once-a-week there is a thread started about having us MGS’ers help someone find a shaft, or recommend a shaft. In the posts the answers are usually “get fitted”, or “buy a shaft with a similar profile”. This second advice can be quite costly. Last year, the VP of Graphite Design and I were visiting through email about shafts, and he shared with me about Shaft Shack and their service. There is NO MORE NEED to just go buy a shaft, taking a chance. Shaft Shack carries a number of shafts in various categories and one can order as many as they want to TEST for a week or more, then RETURN them when the testing is over.YOU NO LONGER HAVE TO SPEND FULL PRICE ON YOUR GUESS! I’ve talked to the guy that runs the site, and he’s awesome. Great customer service. No, they don’t have EVERY shaft, but they carry a BUNCH. So, in the future, if you want to find a different shaft than is in your gamer, or you see a post by someone looking for a new shaft, go to Shaft Shack’s site, spend $30 instead of $300, and try a shaft! And, they do SELL the shafts as well.... (I have ZERO affiliation with Shaft Shack. I’m someone who spent good money trying to find a shaft years back. There is no need to do-so anymore!) https://www.shaftshack.com Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro tony@CIC, cnosil, bens197 and 5 others 8 Quote Driver: Ping G430 Max 9*, Ping Tour 70X Fairway: Ping G425 15*, Ping Tour 70X Hybrid: Ping G425 22*, Ping Tour 80X Irons: Ping i230 4-GW, TT DG X100 Wedges: SMS 50D/54V/58DModus 130 stiff, +1” Putter: EAS 1.0 Ball: Titleist 2023 AVX

PMookie
Did it arrive and if so how’d it go?Yep. Dropped it at UPS yesterday. They send a kit so that one can attach their adaptor to the club head, same one used at Club Champion, etc. Easy to change out! The S+ just isn’t for me, not stiff enough, so it was really cool to be able to take it on the course and realize it wasn’t a good fit before buying one! For $30?! Can’t beat it!!! The service was PHENOMENAL, and the shaft looked brand new. I highly recommend them to ANYONE looking at a new shaft that can’t do a fitting! Even if one has done a fitting, and it came down to a couple shafts, here’s a way to get them both on-course to make the determination.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro bens197 1 Quote Driver: Ping G430 Max 9*, Ping Tour 70X Fairway: Ping G425 15*, Ping Tour 70X Hybrid: Ping G425 22*, Ping Tour 80X Irons: Ping i230 4-GW, TT DG X100 Wedges: SMS 50D/54V/58DModus 130 stiff, +1” Putter: EAS 1.0 Ball: Titleist 2023 AVX

I like how you can get more than one fittings-day’s worth of swings into your club without a significant commitment. You can see how that shaft is working over a few rounds and in different conditions. E. Berger
Beware of doing business with this company. Nine days after I placed my order they hadn't even started on my shafts. When I canceled they said they would be charging a 20 percent fee and shipping charges. They also said they would not issue my refund for 30 days. NOT COOL>
