I'm also curious, that course has a very interesting look. Is it at a resort? All those buildings in the background look a bit like hotels to me, and all very similar.

I love the backgroud on those shots. Looking up at a city is a lot different from tree lined fairways of the suburbs.

The course was totally empty though, we were the only players that day and until we left.

This resort works mainly in summer, from May till September. Any other time it's basically a ghost town. Even the shops and restaurants are closed.

We have an American friend from California visiting. Actually he's the one who took these last photos. He dropped his handicap from 26 last year to 16.

Isn't though? I saw the course and to find out that it was Egypt was amazing, but to hear about someone improving enough to drop 10, that got the standing ovation from me.
