fixyurdivot
I've been using Callaway gloves for the past few years that I purchased in 4 packs. I have found them to be great fitting and a soft durable cabretta leather. Now I'm only finding them in 3 packs at a much higher price. I wanted to try some Kirkland gloves but haven't been able to find them in stores and didn't want to order on line before seeing first hand. So I just ordered/received some FJ's Amazon.com : FootJoy Men's WeatherSof 2-Pack Golf Glove White Cadet Large, Worn on Left Hand : Sports & Outdoors. My first impression isn't good . These seem paper thin and made of inferior material. Definitely not as soft. I'm hopeful they'll perform and last but I have my doubts. Anyone else purchased these specifically through Amazon? How do you like them? They don't seem of the quality I've known of FJ gloves of the past. pulledabill
Ive never bought them off of Amazon but do use these at times. They do seem thin but do hold up well for me. fixyurdivot 1 Quote DRIVER: Cobra F9 10.5 Tensei AV Blue 65g 3W- Callway XR PRO 16 stiff 5W- Alpha- Mitsubishi Diamana Redboard w/band Irons- Mizuno JPX 919 Tours with S KBS Tour shafts Hyrbid- TM 4h mid-rescue Vokey- Vokey SM5 51 degrees, SM7 Wedges 54 and 58 1/2 half 3 degrees upright Putter- Taylor Made Rossa Monza Mini Spider Ball-ProV1 and AVX
fixyurdivot
I'm comparing to these Callaway Amazon.com : Callaway Golf Gloves Medium 3-Pack Cabretta Leather : Sports & Outdoors. Significant difference in feel softness which is odd given the "weathersof" moniker. Nothing like FJ's from the past. silver & black 1 Quote G410 Plus, 9 Degree Driver G400 SFT, 16 Degree 3w G400 SFT, 19 Degree 5w ZX5 Irons 4-AW Glide 2.0 56 Degree SW (removed from double secret probation ) ER5v Putter (Official Review) AI-One Milled Seven T CH (Official Review)
Crowev01
Honestly the Maxfli Cabaretta gloves have been awesome. They have them $10 ea at times and totally worth it for real leather. fixyurdivot and pulledabill 2 Quote Titleist 975J Callaway Hawkeye 3 Wood Ben Hogan CFT Hybrid, Apex Plus Irons Cleveland 588 Wedges Scotty Newport 2 Mid Slant Pro Platinum
juspoole
Those weathersof gloves are the base model for the most part of the Footjoy line up. Those cabretta Callaway gloves you use seem to be good value. The Footjoy flex might get you a bit closer and the Footjoy StaSof glove is going to exceed the quality of Callaway in my opinion. A secondary budget option that is very good value for good feel are the Srixon Cabretta gloves. Can be found 12 - 14 bucks each if you want to switch things up. Lastly MG golf gloves are fair, for me the fit was fairly off, but decent value for money in terms of leather. fixyurdivot 1 Quote Driver: Mavrik Sub Zero 9* (Set to 10) Ventus Blue 6X 2 Hybrid: TSI3 Hybrid Tensei Blue 80 X (17.25*) 3 Hybrid 818 H2 Hybrid Hzrdus RDX Black 6.5 (20.5*) 4 Iron - T200 4 Iron Graphite Design Tour AD IZ X Hybrid Shaft Irons 5-PW: T100-S 5 - GW KBS Tour 130 X Gap/Sand Wedge: Vokey SM6 49* SM8 54* Lob Wedge: Jaws 5 Wedge 58* DG Tour Issue Stiff Putter: Phantom 5.5 34" Pro Platinum Newport 2 35" Taylormade Tour Black Spider 34"
silver & black
I used FJ gloves years ago. I always liked them. My home course quit carrying them, so I switched to Under Armour. I like these quite a bit. fixyurdivot
