TheProfessor02
What is your favorite training aid and why? It doesn't necessarily have to be the one that helped you improve the most it could be the one you have the most fun using. If you were stranded on a island with just your golf clubs and one training aid which would you choose? TheProfessor02
I'll get things started and go with just the classic hitting net. Whether it be working on ball striking or just trying to blow off some steam there's nothing for me that tops beating some balls into the practice net. Headhammer
Putting mat & mirror. Putting mat gives me something to do when it's too cold or too hot outside. Mirror helps me with a consistent set-up and swing path. edingc and TheProfessor02 2 Quote Driver: Speed Zone 9* HZRDUS Smoke Yellow Shaft 3 Wood: King Speedzone 13.5* HZRDUS Smoke Black Shaft 2 & 3 Hybrids: Speedzone Recoil 480 ESX Shaft Irons: Speedzone 5-GW Recoil 460 ESX Shafts Wedges: PM Grind 54* & 58* Putter: Dual Force Rossi II Ball: Whatever I find in the woods HCP:
rblagg
I bought and have been using the Gold Flex Tempo Trainer for about 2 months.. Its a great tool for increasing swing speed and just loosening up before a round. And it's fun and can be used just about anywhere.
vandyland
For the full swing I really like birdie balls. Let's me take full swings and gives me feedback on good/bad turf interaction and shot shape. Birdie balls are easy to crack in cold weather, however, and you need to hit them off pretty short grass in my experience. For putting practice (which I loathe), I have found the blast golf motion sensor is very good. It, primarily, helps you with two things (1) backstroke to thru stroke tempo and (2) face (open/neutral/closed) at impact. When my putting gets off (like right now in fact), I am so glad I have this thing because it makes putting practice more fun and useful. I still struggle with speed on longer putts and I can't say there is a training aid that will help you with that. But if you are consistently missing short putts, I would guess it is because you are open or closed at impact and Blast will tell you that. Thin2win
Does a GC Quad count? Lol. Pure training aid, I like the Puttout the best. Simple, fun and addictive. I seem to always want to hit one more when using it.
