TSauer
I know Push Cart Mafia is in full force these days, but does anyone here also have carts they've fixed up and don't mind showing off? I picked this one up a couple of years ago for a steal of a price and decided to put a little work into it to make it mine. So, I'm always looking for ideas on other things to possibly add to it. With being a remote worker and the course only being a few minutes from the house, it makes squeezing golf in on lunch breaks so much easier. Yeah, so the body was done with a metallic flake autobody paint from https://www.paintwithpearl.com and the seat covers are from Up to Par covers from Amazon. IIRC, the windshield was also purchased from Amazon, but it is a little flimsy compared to the stock ones and I actually just removed the top portion and only have the lower part attached now. For the roof, I recommend using an adhesion promoter and some sort of bed liner finish. I need to redo mine, as it's just a basic paint and starting to flake. A lot of people recommend Raptor adhesion promoter and the Herculiner bed liner aerosol spray. But, there are several options and you can even use a roll on liner or just stick with a basic spray can finish as well. It all just depends on what you're going to be driving through. As with everything, prep work is KEY! DevMurphy
Just stumbled upon your post about customized golf carts, and man, it sounds like you got yourself a sweet deal! It's so cool that you're using your lunch breaks to hit the course; that's definitely one way to make the most of remote work. If you're looking for ideas on how to spruce up your cart, you might want to consider the type of cart you have and its capabilities. For instance, have you ever thought about the quality and reliability of the cart's battery and build? I was doing some reading the other day and found this article at https://golfgladiator.com/are-kandi-golf-carts-any-good/ that talks about Kandi golf carts. It delves into what to look for in terms of durability, battery life, and even after-sales service. Might be worth a look if you're thinking of any significant upgrades. Josh Parker
Here is mine. Not allowed on the course unfortunately. The won't let 6 seaters even if I changed the tires to road tires. Said the weight was to much. It actually weighs less than most because of the lithium battery.
