This just in: Water makes things wet

This article is truly hilarious. Usually articles like this give some kind of mindset/strategy that low handicappers use that high handicappers don't. Or some stat about really zeroing in on one aspect of the game that truly any golfer can control with a little more concentrated practice. It took a whole study for them to come to the conclusion that better golfers have a better swing.

Golf digest is dead, some may say it’s relevant for the hit list. It even that is just awards based on money for ads they are given.

you are right

Surely, water makes things even worse for golfers. I recently searched on Google about if golf balls go bad in any weather condition. I found an article on a random website named Golf Ace Nation (https://golfacenation.com/do-golf-balls-go-bad/).  Here is what they said about golf balls in water: "When golf balls are exposed to water, they can absorb moisture, causing them to become heavier and lower their compression. As a result, they may lose distance and accuracy, leading to poorer shot-making." They also discussed the effect of cold on the golf balls.
