KenBender
I usually try to get to the course about an hour and a half early unless the tee time is earlier than 7:30am, then I’m about 45min early. Here’s my breakdown on a normal after 7:30am tee time and this is approximate depending on when I arrive. -10min to get the clubs out shoes on and walk to the pro shop or putting green. -About a ten min. stretch then a 15-20min. putting warmup -15 min for chipping if possible if not I add a few minutes to the putting and full swing warmup. -then some more light stretching and about 30min for full swing. after that I check in and use the restroom if necessary and go to the tee box. MIKEOGOLF
I definitely used to be a trunk slammer, maybe I should go back to that! Now my game is off and I hit 15 -20 balls. What I really need is a few weeks of practice. I do like to hit a few chips and pitches which gives me a good feel for the firmness of the greens, stroke a few long putts for speed and then make 5 putts 8 - 10 feet, then 10 from 3 -4 feet. JeffK
We have two courses so if I'm playing off the 10th tee of the north course I'll leave home about 25 minutes before my tee time. That gives me time to get some chipping practice in and a few stretches. It helps living 200 meters from the tee though. Waximus Prime
I am notorious for arriving 5-10 minutes before our time. Never late, but usually 5-10 minutes. My club doesn't have a range, and I don't feel like going in the sim and waiting my turn to take a few swings. I usually try to leave enough time fishbowl the car in the lot for a few minutes and then putt for a few minutes. Quote "The best part about golf is the community that it creates. Dweed
I'm usually an hour or more ahead of my tee time. There is no range to warm up on so I stretch and practice putts at least. I also like to pay early so as not to be caught up in a rush. I let that for others.
