Bunker Practice…

Hello everyone. I live in the UK and i’m a member at my local course. 

At the minute my shots out the sand are anything but good. Fairway bunkers i tend to be okay out of as my ball striking with my irons/woods is pretty good. 

The only issue is my course doesn’t have a green side bunker which is used for practice. Has anybody got any tips on how i can practice these shots? i feel like doing it on one of the holes on a quiet day could be okay but i don’t want to annoy greenkeepers or other members?

Oh boy I wish I could help ... I get into a greenside bunker and I freeze up .. go blank .. choke... You get the picture!

i’m currently the same, fat it, skull it you name it i do it. i guess the best solution is don’t go into the bunker in the first place.

Daniel Grieve gives some great advice on Twitter (@dangrieve ) & Instagram.  Bunkers off hard sand is definitely an achilles heel in my game. 

I'd definitely be practicing on any quiet days on the course that you can. As long as you're not holding any groups up & raking the bunkers after you, it's fine
