RickyBobby_PR
If you want or need to knock off some spin they are worth it. For me they weren’t a good fit with irons and around the green and also not the sound I’m looking for off the putter. They will add distance off the tee for a lot of people, it’s just a matter if the ball flight matches what you want and if you can control the ball with irons and wedges. If I was interested in trying them for the first time I wouldn’t use the loyalty program to do it. I would buy a box and try them order via loyalty program if I liked them bens197 1 Quote Driver: PXG 0811 X+ Proto w/UST Helium 5F4 Wood: TaylorMade M5 5W w/Accra TZ5 +1/2”, TaylorMade Sim 3W w/Aldila rogue white Hybrid: PXG Gen2 22* w/AD hybrid Irons: PXG Gen3 0311T w/Nippon modus 120 Wedges: TaylorMade MG2 50*, Tiger grind 56/60 Putter: Scotty Caemeron Super Rat1 Ball: Titleist Prov1

I would love to hear your thoughts. I gamed Left Dash for a good chunk of last year. It was my go-to under most conditions. It's not the lowest spinning ball out there, but it's got so much ball speed that you're sure to pick up a little distance. It's very, very firm. DO NOT, under ANY circumstances, play this ball when it's cold outside if you have ANY tendency to hit thin. I kid you not, I thinned one a couple weeks back with a 7i when it was about 35 degrees out and it was a full hole and a half before I regained feeling in my right hand. I haven't played enough with the new-gen (3-piece) XV to make a determination. The prior-gen I liked, but had some distance loss with the irons. (It was about a half-club shorter than most other balls I tried) bens197 1 Quote Driver: ZX5 LS MkII 9.5* (@ 9.0*) with 46.5" Ventus Blue 6X 3-wood: SIM 15* with Diamana Limited 75S 5-wood: RADspeed 18.5* with Motore X F3 60S 2i: ZX with SteelFiber i95 Stiff 4hy: TS3 23* with Tensei AV Blue 70 S 4i-7i ZX7, 8i-PW Z-Forged, Modus3 Tour 120 S 50*, 55* RTX 6 Modus3 Tour 125 60* RTX Full Face ZipCore DG Spinner S400 Putter: Toulon Chicago with a Quad Tour or HB SOFT Milled 10.5S with UST All-in Ball: Chrome Tour (but I might still have some Left Dashes hanging around) Bag: Ltd Edition Tartan, blue/green/yellow Using to keep track of my shots Tested: D7 Forged 3i-PW, KBS Tour-V 110S - Official Review Blind Ball Test (Ball #3 vs Ball #4) - Unofficial Review V3 GPS Watch + Tags - Official Review Vero X2 - Official Review The Stack System - Official Review
bens197
I'm glad I asked...thanks @RickyBobby_PR and @GregGarner... The promotion looks very appealing but I also take your points seriously...committing to 4 dozen for something that may not be great despite its MGS results is worth thinking about. Thanks again for chiming in. Thanks again for chiming in. Anytime. I don’t know what the secondary market is these days so selling the extras may or may not work out. The difference in the current line of balls from a spin aspect is a lot closer than it used to be. The prov1 and 1x are only a couple hundred rpm apart. That’s really the difference in 1/8” in face location on a driver bens197 1 Quote Driver: PXG 0811 X+ Proto w/UST Helium 5F4 Wood: TaylorMade M5 5W w/Accra TZ5 +1/2”, TaylorMade Sim 3W w/Aldila rogue white Hybrid: PXG Gen2 22* w/AD hybrid Irons: PXG Gen3 0311T w/Nippon modus 120 Wedges: TaylorMade MG2 50*, Tiger grind 56/60 Putter: Scotty Caemeron Super Rat1 Ball: Titleist Prov1
G-Ram
I've played them the last few years, not exclusively, but probably 80% ? Yes, they do run a bit firm on feel. But I tend to spin my shots a ton (driver down to wedges). No troubles backing the ball up on half ways receptive greens up to 180 yds (7i max effort) . Off the driver, they are hotter, as mentioned. BUT they are not complete bricks on shorter clubs/putter either. Are they like hitting a marshmallow with a pillow? No. But they give sufficient feel for sure. Just ordered another 4 boxes to ensure I had some for the summer. Took a chance on a pair of boxes of the new Chrome Tour. I'll be giving those away at some point lol. bens197 1 Quote we got a pool and a pond... the pond would be good for you

In college and working in the golf business I was fiercely loyal to the ProV1X. It was such a good ball. And over the last several years it’s been amusing to watch the evolution of the X. Now comparing that to the AVX (which I know very little of) and the left dash, it definitely piques my curiosity. …the endless pursuit of the best gear is an endless pursuit. I've really liked the AVX for a while now. I played a round last Sunday and the first 9-holes I was by myself backed up with 4-somes in front and behind so I played two balls from the 1st tee; I played a ProV1 and an AVX because I was interested in how differently they played. I like the way the AVX plays and feels. I know the testing shows the Prov1 and V1x being a bit longer than the AVX, but I didn't see the difference. my 2 cents. I need to put an order in for the Odin balls, they sounds like a good option. bens197 1 Quote Driver - Ping G400 9°, Project-X Evenflow Black 6.0S 65 gr. LeftyMatt89
I play the majority of my rounds with the left dash. I would say compared to the XV it should spin a little less off the driver and launch higher on irons. I find the spin to be comparable on pitch shots and chips with both. I do not mind a firm ball at all, so I am not sensitive to it. I think for me it helps me not zip balls off greens with my scoring irons because I am a high spin player. I find the ball to just hit and basically stop instead of zipping back. bens197 1 Quote Driver: TSR3 8 Ventus Red TR 8X Fairway: TSi2 16.5 Ventus Blue 8X Hybrid: Sim 2 - 19 Hybrid Tensei Orange 90TX Irons: P790 4-5 P7MC Raw 6-PW MMT 125TX Wedges: SM8 50.10F, 54.10S - X100 & 58.04T S400 Putter: Lajosi DD201 Pro V1X Left Dash

Lower spin than the prov1 and 1x and also lower ball flight. If you don’t need to lower flight and spin then avx might not be the best route. not a fan of the greenside spin of avx ive always been a prov1 player with occasionally mixing in the 1x. brogies
As mentioned, it's great for lowering spin especially on the driver and it goes a mile.
