SPY VIP The Dansome Posted November 1, 2012 SPY VIP Share Posted November 1, 2012 It's Magnum's 9th birthday! He has requested all gifts be sent in the form of Wilson FG Tour balls (or any other premium tour ball, really), Srixon Lady Soft Feels, some new wedges(any), maybe a putter or 2, oh and he wants one of those sexy new divers (Nike, Taylor, Callaway, something). Very demanding cat; I know. That is all. Yo #JustPlayBetter Follow @GolfSpyMBP

RoverRick
If Magnum has suddenly gone mute is is because I shortened my driver to 44 3/4" and it is "the cat's meow". Tell Magnum I feel his pain because we stayed in a resort with a 42' flat screen and I wondered how people were able to see such a small screen. We bought a 60" a couple of years ago. 87 more payments and that baby is our's. (Not really,) Happy Birthday Magnum. revkev
So what are his specs? I'm hopeful that my new driver will arrive today and with a couple of clicks I could set my old one up and ship it off to him. Beautiful cat - ours is like the kid who shows up on the first tee shirt tail out and high tops untied. Evan Longoria - my daughter is a huge TB Rays fan. Driver: Taylor Made Stealth 2 10.5 Diamana S plus 60 R flex - 44.25 Fairways: Ping G410 5, 7, 9 wood Alta CB red 65 R flex Hybrid: Ping G410 26 degree Alta CB Red 70 R flex Irons: Ping G430 7-PW, 45, 50 Alta CB black 65 soft R flex Wedges: Ping 195 S54, E58 Wedges and irons are - 1/2” and one degree flat Putter: Sacks Parente Duke 32.5” Ball: Titleist Pro VI or Callaway Chrome Soft X ls While not at the same time I was fit for every club in my bag as well as the Pro VI ball. I use the chrome soft x ls on my league course. It has much softer softer greens than the club that I belong to. I’m on a mission to shoot my age - lifetime lowest round is 66 and I’m currently 67. revkev
My guess is that he's named after the package that his favorite beveridge comes in and that his Christmas wish list includes several of these. RoverRick
My guess is that he's named after the package that his favorite beveridge comes in and that his Christmas wish list includes several of these. Maybe that is Mrs. Manbearpig's favorite, Magnum's favorite drink come in gallons from places like Oak Farms and Bordan's. Manbearpig may be a fan of Hawaiian based detective shows from the 80's. SPY VIP The Dansome Posted November 2, 2012 Author SPY VIP Share Posted November 2, 2012 Ahh the name. Well it's simple my Favorite 80's detective show and cell phone ring tone for the past 10 years is, as you already guessed; Magnum PI. But wait! That's not quite it. As you can see he has quite striking cheek bones, which invoke thoughts of a model. So for you Ben Stiller fans out there, he's named after Zoolander's new pose; "Magnum" Yo #JustPlayBetter Follow @GolfSpyMBP
