Key Distances

When I was young it was 4 iron from 200, 8 from 150 and SW from 100. Now it's 5w, 7, GW (all with jacked lofts).

 

But there are several big boy distances that I have wired:

 

Golf Club: 12 minutes

Work: 12 minutes

Tropicana Field: 21 minutes from a seat behind third to my fridge for a post game beer. .

Now that is Awesome!  only 21 minutes.....I usually have an hour + to get home from a game at the Trop!

 

Now for the other distances....when i was in my 20's a 7 iron was 140-150....today a 7 iron is 140-150......golly gee, I love technology!

I timed it last night, stayed to the last out, hung around for a few minutes to make sure there wasn't a replay and left my seat.  It was 10:26 when I left my seat and 10:47 when I walked in the door at home - I can take back roads, the way they have the traffic patterns are terrible for getting on 275 North out of the parking lots.

I timed it as well....10:26 Game Over....10:27 transferred my body from the Family Room to the Bedroom to catch the news at 10:30 before retiring for the evening....Actual transport time was about 30 seconds...LOL

90 feet from the 18th green to the bar....I am dialed in on that distance.

Edit: I have found that "please" works a lot better for keeping the peace.

Back in the day when I lived on the north side of Milwaukee, it was leave the house on Sunday morning at 10:45, drive up I-43, exit at Onieda Street, pay $10 to park in a yard on Watermolen Drive, walk 5 blocks to Gate A at Lambeau Field, buy a brat and Leinie's beer and be in my seat in Row 47, Section 125 (15 yd line) at 12:45 to watch the Packers for the 1pm kickoff.

There are advantages to small town life.  

 

Home to office:  5 minutes, if I get stuck at both lights. 

 

Office to club:  4 minutes, if stuck at same two lights.  

 

Club to home: 2 minutes, unless it's 7:00 on Wednesday and Mrs. Williams is on her way to church, then 5 minutes.  

 

Today's round, 3 guys, 3 carts, 18 holes, two hours 45 minutes.  Time waiting to be served in bar post round, 1 minute.

Wait a minute - back at Jax - 2 hours from the North Side of Milwaukee to Lambeau?  Glad I was in church on Sunday morning when you were streaking by -

let's see:

 

8-14 minutes from home to work.

20-35 minutes to get to the golf course I like to play (lights can make it really long)

12-15 seconds for me to  get from the weather computer into the studio and in front of the camera with a smile on my face.

and 2 hours and 15 minutes to play 18 if the course is clear.

??  I hour 36 minutes according to google maps from former house to Lambeau.  You know they patrol the interstate heavily on Packer Sunday mornings.

And I could have received a ticket for speed preaching those eight Sunday's a year. The best was when Christas Eve and the last game of the season matched up and of course it was a 4:00 home game for the Pack.
