  1. I have some more testing of my own to do and I was really surprised by the Srixon Z-star and XV. Give them a whirl. you may be surprised
  2. This for me is a very sad read. I'm so very sorry for your loss. Please find comfort in your family and remember the good times in his life. I suffer from a form of PTSD from being bullied as a kid. It hurts. It's frustrating and it's downright mean when it gets its claws into you. Throw me a message if you need to vent, chat or otherwise!!!
  3. I felt like I needed to share my accomplishment with all of you.

I shot a 75 on a par 70 course. My lowest score ever was an 84.

    Small victories!!!!

Congrats - in my life that would qualify as a much larger than small win :-)

  4. Hello all, Just a general question. I recently purchased said driver. It has a Aldila Rogue MSI130 60X shaft. I'm assuming that means it's an X-stiff shaft. I've heard it's on the softer side. Anyone had any experience with this combination? I couldn't pass up the deal I got on it brand new.

  6. So Im a returning golfer. Never really stopped playing but not playing as much as I was when I was younger. This past year I replaced my Lynx Parallax Tour Irons with a set of Callaway Steelhead XR's They feel really good and you can still shape a shot when needed. The offset isn't obnoxious by any stretch. I in a way wish I had of waited a little bit. I've heard the Taylormade P770's are a nice Players Iron and can be combo'ed with the 790

Miis watching Games at the old Aud. Being up in the nosebleeds feeling like you're going to fall onto the ice.
  8. This going to be some fun throughout the golf season if we get to play here in Ontario.
  9. Link worked for me. Let's Buckeyes!!! Win me that amazing putter!!!!
  10. Good afternoon all, Just looking for some insight. I just purchased a TM M5 3 Wood and was wondering if anyone has played this club? What should I expect from this club? Easy to hit? Good interaction with the turf off the deck? Stay Safe everyone. Thanks in Advance. Jeremy
  11. I love walking. There are a couple of courses I play up here. Longer courses I'll rent a pushcart but others I'll walk and carry my bag. I find you get in shape in a real hurry. 3 or 4 rounds in and your legs are ready for the season.
  12. I totally forgot about Golfcity. I also don't mind Paige Spirinac. She does a really good job of course stuff and lessons.
  13. For reviews, I like Rich Shiels and TXG. Peter Finch is always good to watch. I like Matt Fryer for lessons. (Yes British heritage) I like watching Chris Dennis and James Robinson. Chris is excellent with technical short game stuff, course management and riles James up pretty good. For fun stuff, I enjoy watching Good Good, some of those boys can play. I also like Golfholics. I like their course Vlogs because of the competitions they have. Guys vs girls. That kinda thing. They include everyone.
  14. New toy ordered. Purchased a used Very Good condition Callaway Apex 2 Hybrid. The excitement is a buzz. Anyone ever gamed these?
  15. I'm looking into a Hybrid club to fill the gap between a 5 iron and 3 wood. We'll see what I can find at CPO, Global Golf and Golf Avenue here in Canada.
  16. Afternoon all, Happy thanksgiving to you all in the US. Hope everyone is staying safe in the world of COVID. Wondering if some opinion of a couple clubs I've been looking at. Has anyone ever used or is currently playing: - Callaway Mavrik Pro Hybrids or Epic Hybrids. - Cleveland HB Hybrids - Titleist Hybrids of any sort I'm looking at the Callaway Preowned site and deals galore. Hence the Mavrik idea. The other two are on a site up here in Canada I've been considering. Thoughts?? anything to stay away from? others I may be overlooking? Thanks everyone.
  17. That sucks about the shafts. Too bad the kbs shafts don't work for you. I'm the opposite, the KBS shafts work well for my swing in my irons. I have the tour V-90 Stiff shafts and my dispersion has tightened up tremendously. It's too bad you couldn't have them changed out before you hit the Trackman. I wonder if theres a private fitter or a golf galaxy near you that could do something to help. Im sure you've explored that. Let us know how it goes even if you don't get them switched out and hit the trackman. be curious to see the numbers
  18. amazing. then you can teach the rest of us over Zoom. Classes coming to a computer near you.
  19. Id like to see how they hold up after say 10 shots from a greenside bunker. Spin? landing - soft? what does the club look like wear wise? face and sole scratched and mangled (for lack of a better word)
  20. Great review Cory. Thats awesome they made it into the bag for sure. I've been considering some new wedges as I play the older Callaway Vintage X-Forged 52* 56* and 60*'s. I love the feel of them so its going to be hard to give them up if something else makes it into the bag.
  21. My wife is from up here but I love the outdoors. I grew up outside Toronto in Niagara Falls. It was just too hustle and bustle. it nice to wake up in the morning and not hear cars all day. Night sky is gourgeous where I am too as I'm an amateur astronomer.

  23. I’m in North Bay. Snow from November to Marchish. But winter temps can go as low as -40*C Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  24. Agree 100%. Still has a bit of nostalgia when he hits a flop or one of those wormburners that runs up to cup and goes in. Still fun to watch.
