Already play the tour x and it is a great ball. Testers, have fun!

I would love to be involved in something like this. Best of luck to everyone!

This would be a really cool test to participate in. Very elite.

I wish you all the best of luck with the Arccos system. I tried it on 2 separate occasions and could never get it to track accurately. It turned into more of a distraction than a help. Other people seemed to love it and it worked perfect. I'll be curious how it works for you all.

As the guy in my group always trying to get the other golfers to walk, I’m bummed I won’t be able to use this as an opportunity to really push the other guys. Oh well. Congrats @fixyurdivot @PMookie @sirchunksalot @RollingGreens! Go get your miles in.

Not a range finder guy so I'll pass on signing up for this one. Best of luck to everyone else.

Congrats to all the testers. I would like to hear from you all how it compares to GPS iPhone apps.

I would LOVE to test this putter out. I have been very curious about this design and think I could do a good job putting it through the testing process.

Peter,
So maybe the review wasn't clear on this point, but the fee you pay does get used as a credit toward the purchase of the driver you have in your possession, so for example if I wanted to buy the G425 I have currently, I'd be credited $360 toward the final purchase price of $549.
As to your point about getting used clubs, just thinking aloud here knowing what I know from working at a big box retailer which took trades in the golf space (hint, rhymes with Rick's Porting Woods), the quality of the used market can run the gamut and I would think unless you're buying direct demos from dealers, it's too much of a hassle to have all those different sku's. Plus, you're trying to put out your best product to entice me to buy, you ship me a used SIM2 with some beatdown on it when I'm paying 30 bucks a month or 360 all at once... I'm not going to be happy.
Thanks for the reply. I knew that the money you paid for the subscription went toward the purchase of the final driver. I was, I think correctly, assuming that you couldn’t go back to a previous driver without using one of your allowed trade ins.
My idea was to let everyone use demo clubs and then if someone wanted to actually purchase one of the clubs, they would get a brand new one shipped to them. You would go in knowing you aren’t swinging brand new clubs initially but if you wanted to make one your own that you could pay the extra money and get a brand new one shipped to your door. Or if you were completely happy with the demo club, you could purchase it at a small discount.
Hell, if you weren’t swinging new clubs every time and you were already having to cover the cost of shipping like you already are, it would make it so you could swap out more clubs than just the 3 times. Since all the demo inventory would be used, it wouldn’t be dwindling as more people swapped their clubs out. I know it’s nice swinging brand new clubs but as long as it is structurally sound, cosmetic blemishes wouldn’t matter.

@Berg Ryman So my biggest question and possibly even complaint, is if you went through 2-3 drivers and realized that your favorite was one that you had already tried and wanted to purchase, you couldn’t get that club back unless you used your final swap to get it back and then purchase. Correct? I understand why they can’t let people have multiple drivers at the same time but I think it would be better to have the testing pool be used drivers and then if you wanted to actually purchase one, you could get a new one.
In its current form, I don’t think I’d see myself getting a subscription. If you could demo used drivers for periods of time and then use that money, or even a portion of the money, to purchase a new one, I’d be all in. Same thing with irons or woods. Hitting clubs on mats in hitting bays just isn’t the same thing as playing out on the course. I wish there were more ways to demo clubs and then make a purchasing decision.

Congrats to all the testers. I am curious how the clubs perform and how you all like them. Will be following along.

Definitely not the target demo of this audience. Better player who wants a fade bias. Out and out. Good luck to everyone.

It's impressive that they have been able to make their tech work both indoors and out especially since it was outdoors exclusive since the inception.

If using a phone, make sure you put your bag next to it to keep it in the shade. I have had overheating problems as well. I have a nice iPad that I'm going to try it with at some point when the weather cools down.

Playing the 718 AP1 right now. Would love to compare to the new T300 and see how they fare.

I've already got an MLM and I don't use it near as much as I should. Following this test will help me make the time to get it out more often to see how others are using it.

I think that this is a great concept, but as someone who has a tipped shaft, I don't think that this one is for me. Good luck to all the applicants! One question I do have is that if you try out your three drivers/year and want to go back and buy the first one, does Dollar Driver Club give you any credit towards that purchase?
From what I’ve seen, I don’t think so. They sell the used drivers so if you wanted to go back to a previous driver, it would have to be done as one of your swaps.
Start with A, switch to B, if you decided you liked A and wanted to keep it then you’d have to use your third swap to get it.
I don’t think you could try 3 drivers in the year and then go back to A or B.
