    I'm a 14 way fan. But they have to be done right. You need full length dividers for each slot. You need an oversize putter slot and a decent cooler compartment. 
    The Cobra bag I received during the Cobra Challenge would be perfect if it had full length dividers for each slot. But I'm living with it because everything else is very good.
    I also have the Bag Boy Chiller. Everything is really good except it is just too large for my Club Glove Pro travel bag.
    I have a MotoCaddy 14 way but the club slots are too tight. Spacing is tight and it is difficult to get the clubs in and out and it does not have a cooler pocket.
    I've tried several other bags that did not have 14 way top and I found that my clubs always got tangled. Tacky mid size grips need to be separated.

    Sun Mountain C-130's for me!
    Organization is paramount for me being a "structured & disciplined" person.
    Easy to get clubs in and out, and place for all of them, and the large putter well.
    Only downside of this bag is it's known for not being too stable to stand alone on a breezy day.
    As @GolfSpy_BEN mentioned, the MGS Jones bag has a lot more difficulty keeping clubs from becoming tangled and easy to remove and replace.

    I like them as one who is graced with an overabundance of military trained/ingrained OCD where everything has its place and everything goes in its place.  Protecting the shafts of clubs is still necessary especially graphite shafts from shorter shafted irons and the 14 way dividers do a good job of keeping a longer club head cover in place without much time at all to tuck the knit end into the slot returning the club to the bag.  This does not take extra time when one is conscious of playing Ready Golf, thinking ahead to what is next, pushing one's own clubs and walking directly from shot to shot including cleaning the clubhead to ensure the cover stays clean on the hybrids and woods.  
    Love how the clubhead cover bias already slipped into the thread 🤣 to each his/her own, and those who judge should be grateful to anyone who cares enough to judge them back 🏌️‍♂️

    I like them if they are set up right. They need an oversized putter well and full length dividers. 
    I had a Maxfli 14 and the LAB putter didn't work in the bag. Tried every combo I could think of. 
    My Titleist Hybrid is a 14 with a large putter well and I love it. 
    Also like the 15 with the putter on the side and a slot for alignment sticks.

    I play with a guy who has a 14 way bag and he uses iron covers.  His nickname in our group is “nerd.”

    I like them. A place for everything, and everything in its place. Plus, they help dampen the temptation of carrying more than 14 clubs. 
     
    my only complaint about the MGS Jones bag with a 5 way top, is that the clubs can be tough to remove or put in when they bunch up at the bottom.

    Against…mainly as my only experience was with the plastic tubes from years ago.  Saw some shaft wear with those and increased overall bag weight.
    Haven't really been in the market for a bag, but my preference is a stand bag…not sure if there are any 14 divider stand bags out there (they may exist, just haven’t looked as I love my Ping Hoofer).

    In all seriousness, I love a 14 way bag just because it's so easy to organize where my clubs are. I'm still rocking the bag from the Cobra Challenge and while I love it, I can't ever get an organizational system down.

    When done correctly, I love them.
    However, most of them are not done correctly.  I don't care if it is a 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, or 15 way top, but it should have individual internal dividers for all openings in the top.
    I will die on this anthill.  As a result, I generally only like a high number of dividers on cart bags or bags where the base doesn't collapse for the lets to extend, because this causes bunching of the dividers, which is another thing I despise.
    Probably a good thing I didn't make the call today! 🤣

    For those who haven't been counting, since the year end MGS Cup tournament was announced right before the Super Bowl, 23 of the current top 32 players have committed to participate and only five have conflicts or weather-related issues preventing them from entering.  For those who have not responded, you have until noon this Sunday to let us know (either way) your status.
     We will be working filling any vacancies as we approach the end of the VCT season, it becomes clearer who's within the top 32 and ultimately how many spots need to fill the MGS Cup bracket.    I have a feeling that there may be some intense jockeying the next few weeks as members compete for the final coveted spots.  As @Cfhandyman indicated, there are several people "on the bubble" and a few hundred points separating those who are in....and those who are out!   
    Oh, by the way, it's not a coincidence that VCT season two rounds need to be finished by March 17th so we can set the field.  No, it's not because it's the Ides of March weekend.  Et tu, Brute?  Check your Shakespeare because it likely means there may be some backstabbing that weekend trying to make the final 32!  It is because that date also coincides with the NCAA Basketball Tournament Selection Sunday (who gets into and left out the big dance)!  The MGS Cup tournament lasts three weeks.  What also lasts three weeks?  The NCAA March Madness Tournament.  The MGS Cup tournament ends on April 7th.  NCAA Basketball Finals game is on April 8th when the MSG Cup champion will be crowned!   What else happens on April 8th?  How about the start of Masters week (tournament runs April 11th through 14th) AND the preparation for VCT season three!!  It's great when a plan all comes together!   The next couple of months should be something special!
    So, get those on course or SIM rounds posted, check your fellow competitors and let's have fun out there!

    I have only dabbled in refinishing/painting a putter, didnt turn out for me so I sent it to ping to refinish. now it looks like you just got it off the floor. I have seen tough a lot of heads that were redone and when it came to paint, I would say half used TESTORS acrylic/enamel model paints, some used micro brushed and even broke a toothpick in half to use the exposed wood fibers as the brush for delicate work.
    I only build, repair clubs now a days.

    Morning from Sydney all, 
    I turn 40 today so have taken the afternoon off for a round of golf to get out and celebrate before the kids get out of school. My brother dropped off some Pro V1s with 84 on them as a present so will have to use them (fingers crossed for no lost balls!).

    Nice chilly morning starting out to at a balmy 32* this morning, Going to be nice but will remain cold. 
    Happy Valentines day to MGS Nation, make sure you take the wives . girlfriends out to dinner and don't forget the candy for her and a dozen balls for you.
    Today is my uncles birthday, he passed away 5 years ago, he was an awesome man and he and I were very close. Drinking buddies and a great person that would do anything for you. He was the one that introduced me to his friend from Carnoustie, he lived a 5 minute walk from the first tee there. Just having some great memories of my uncle.
