It was added when you completed the review.

Bear in mind, the badges don't show up on most mobile browsers. But they do show up on the desktop site.

Technically you have until Monday morning at 9am before the thread locks. Although, for scoring purposes, @Golf2Much would appreciate the earliest you are able to post it. Remember, it’s always advisable to stay in the official scorer’s good graces 😂

Gonna head out early tomorrow to try to grab some numbers with the VF vs the Aretera Blue 55/4.

Depending on how I feel, I’ll either play my VCT tourney round or use the round to play on course with the 2 shafts.

Really looking forward to the comparison.   I told my local guy that my perfect shaft would be if the VF and Alpha One Grey had a baby.  Feel, right to left flight, and speed of the VF with the spin and launch of the Grey. 🤤🤤

Date 07/26/2024 Course Name Indian Ridge Gross Score 77 Course Rating 69.2 Course Slope 120 Gross Strokes over/under par 5 Birdies or better 4 Longest Drive 269 So much improvement! This might be enough to keep me as a single digit for a while. Lost a few strokes down the stretch as my back got sore (a common issue for me), or this could have been exceptional. Lost one birdie that would have certainly gone in if I had pulled the pin, but I don't usually do that from 20'.

My ONE HOLE OF POOR PLAY. Ahem. I'm not sure why I was yelling. (But it was pretty extraordinarily...)

I don't mind spending up for materials and products that will last. I am not hard on my gear or clothing and it typically will last a long while anyway, but for me it makes a big difference when I have comfortable clothing.
I recently purchased hoodies from Macade and Rhoback and am thrilled with them. I wear them all them time and they are great on and off the golf course.
Shorts and golf shirts I tend to be cheaper on, they don't get the same everyday use and I haven't found the desire or need to spend up on them. Same goes for socks @GolfSpy SAM 😉

Connor's article raises an interesting question. Obviously, there are bargains to be had. Anyone with a Costco membership knows you can get outfitted for a round for $28 and throw in a vat of potato salad for good measure. But there is the other end of the spectrum, where a nice polo or q-zip will run you the rough equivalent of the entirety of my first paycheck working at McDonalds back in the early nineties. It's all relative, I suppose, but what say you?

‘‘Twas a truly fantastic shot. That was also the same hole that took me 3 shots to get out of the bunker after the mother of all fried egg lies, so my feelings on that particular hole are a bit darker… 😂

In my opinion, golf is as expensive as you want to make it. I think the blanket statement that keeps getting thrown around of golf being too expensive altogether is false. Just like you can go to Taylormade or Callaway or Titleist's websites and buy new clubs, you can go to GlobalGolf, eBay, etc. and buy used that are a couple seasons old at massive discounts without being in beaten to crap shape.
Same with apparel, if you want to spend on the Rhobacks and Peter Millar's of the world, you can. You can also just as easily shop sales at places like UA, outlet stores, etc. Even brands that are on the more expensive side like Primo, Avalon Golf Co. and others run sales where you can save a good amount of money on their products.
No real debate that the cost of green fees continue to rise, but you can play twilight times or off peak season for higher end courses at a discounted rate. You can also use apps like Golf Moose, Golf Now, and websites like GroupGolfer to save on tee times.
Yes, golf is an expensive sport. No, it is not exclusively expensive and can be played and enjoyed for what I consider affordable prices by buying things secondhand and looking for the best deals on tee times.

    Interesting topic.
Of the 3 that are closest, none of them seem likely. If I had to throw a futures bet on it, I would guess Scheffler or Schauffele, but one look at some of the luminaries of the game that couldn’t get it done leaves me skeptical it’ll happen again any time soon. That only 5 golfers have ever done it is staggering, but the list of names goes a long way to explaining what it takes to accomplish this rare feat.
