  1. What a great opportunity - I'm a shotscope user - having been eyeing the upgrade to the v5 but I'm not convinced that it would give me the fitness features that I'm looking for.  It's always long odds to be selected for any test because we have so many qualified people here.  I certainly will be following this test closely selected or not.  Thanks to MGS and Garmin for trusting the forum with it.

I will put in a small plug in that I split rounds between walking and riding even in the summer months in Florida.  It would be interesting to see the difference in fitness numbers between the two.

  2. IMG_0301.png.11c55d91232f9998b27c71256bc56393.pngWedges have been a vexing issue for me the past couple of years. They are extremely important to my game. Florida present so many challenges for wedge play not encountered elsewhere. We have the issue of grain in our grasses that must be read, thick gnarly rough in the summer, et conditions then, too, dry and firm late winter and spring, differing sand due to weather - you name it, we get it.

I’d love to take a crack at testing these and the fitting tools recommendations.

Thanks to Titleist and the MGS moderator team for soliciting applicants from the forum to test. Good luck to all our applicants.

    Shot Scope V5

       221

I did smell this one coming as MGS has been asked to test Shot Scope in the past.  If you haven't tried a tracking device in the past the time really is now.  I don't always use my tracking anymore but I do use it some just to be sure I'm where I think that I am or when I change a piece of equipment for comparison's sake.

I'm considering this upgrade from my V3 so will be following.  Thanks to the mods and the folks at shotscope and good luck to those who apply.  Great opportunity to test an outstanding product.

  3. This is remarkable - huge score for the forum staff. Thanks autoflex for entrusting us with this task. I know we’ve had informal reviews of earlier iterations of these shafts. I gamed one for a season and am anxious to see what improvements have been made.

    Good luck to our applicants

Wow what a great opportunity - thanks Motocaddy and MGS.  My application is in as I am a regular walker.  As I get older I find that my push cart can be tough on my back in the summer months when the rough is thicker.  I wonder if this is a way to avoid that.  I don't exactly know what long term means but I do play and walk year round. Good luck to all who apply.

image.png.0d046d6e6c41a794ba11a96e3c330e9b.pngI’m in - this is a great opportunity. Ping runs the most interesting tests, IMO. Thanks to Ping and the MGS team for the chance to apply and entrusting our forum with this test. Best of luck to all the applicants.

  4. While it's been a while, we have had Taylor Made tests in the past - In fact the first sign up test that I can remember was for Taylor Made irons.  They also provided drivers and fairway woods for the a contest that we had back in the day - I remember it well because I finished second and got fitted with an entire bag of MGS staff favorites including an R11 driver and 3 wood (at the TMag performance enter in Sawgrass - that was an experience!)

It's been forever and this is an incredible opportunity.  Since I was in a recent test group - Sacks-Parente putters - I'm not going to apply as I should not be eligible for this one.  But it's taking all that I can muster to not do it. 🙂

Best wishes to all who apply - thanks as always to our great team of Mods and welcome back Taylor Made - you've made a fan out of me with your recent drivers - one of your models has performed the best for me the last two times I went for driver fittings.

I'm a mallet guy - this one looks intriguing to me - lots of great choices.  Thanks Sacks Parente and MGS for the opportunity.  Living in Florida we are just entering into our season where our greens are fast, firm and smooth.  All the aeration is over and done with here.

  6. What a nice looking watch.  It looks to have tons of functionality.  I think it will be on my Christmas list.  I will be anxious to see the reviews or even to participate in them if selected.

Thanks again for an amazing season Mods!  And thanks Garmin for continuing to trust the MGS community with testing.  Good luck all.

One more day to sign up everyone!

After being on the community call today, I'm super excited to see who gets chosen for this test. Like a lot of people here, I hadn't heard of @Indi Golf until the Rick Shiels video. I can say they're passionate about their product and believe whoever gets picked will have fun with this one.

    Good luck to everyone applying!

Hit them great again on the range today - getting used to them around the green as well.  Will be looking at a 60 soon.

    LOL, ya the sloth.

It is actually a hole, ball, clubs, and flags, you need to rotate it 180° with the points up. I think we may have gotten a little too creative with that bug.

I see it but it's actually really cool - you should do something with it, really.

I buy random wedges because I can’t figure them out- my son loves his 52- but my 60’s aren’t getting it done. It would be nice to be picked to be fitted- that would probably change my golf game. Also I’ve been trying to hit over 100 yards with a wedge- just not getting it.

Oh I can tell you how to do it - hit a wedge over 100.  Buy a club with 43 degrees of loft and stick a P or a G on it. 🙂

  10. Sure, now you have this.  The least that Indi could do is comp a 60 for me after I've been pumping them up in the unofficial review section. 🙂

I can't believe how quickly these wedges are catching on.  In 6 weeks I've gone from never having heard of them to "you aren't getting them out of my bag unless you are my caddy and I'm asking for one to play my next shot!"  While you are waiting to find out who is selected you are welcome to check out my review in the unofficial review section.

Thanks Mods and Indi for another great opportunity. These wedges need the exposure, they deserve it!

  11. Someone or four someone’s are going to enjoy this test. I hit the Paradigm at a recent driving fitting and absolutely loved it. Just got edged out by what I ended up with but honestly it was a coin toss.

Thanks MGS and particularly Callaway for trusting us with these tests.

Ps Callaway you’ve really upped your golf balls. I’m all in on the chrome soft x!  Thank you
