  1. Since I am technically challenged I won't try to do a video. First of all I want to say thank you to GolfSpy and Spornia. This is one well thought out net. The quality is top notch everywhere you look. Having the advantage of watching sirchunksalot video it took me all of about 4 minutes to put the net up. Every ball I hit comes right back to the front of the net. The netting is first class. I would have no issues at all spending the $239 if I was buying a net. Even Jag, our garage and outside mouser totally approves.
  2. Cool! Your reasoning makes complete sense to me.
  3. I hope I don't offend you but as a 22 isn't there some truth to what he said? The reason I ask is because my level of enjoyment of the game grew leaps and bounds once I gave in and moved up a set of tees. I should have done it a couple of years sooner but I just couldn't let myself do it. Again. hope you don't take offence.
  4. This^ Low compression balls like the 29 compression Duo don't lose distance until high swing speeds come into play.
  5. Between Covid and Amazon taking priority over all other mail USPS is a total mess. I feel sorry for their workers.
  6. I've worn nothing but Skechers for the last 6 years. Great shoes.
  7. I see you're from North Carolina. What's the hold up on playing those bad boys!!!??? Courses are closed up here in Illinois, I need to move.
  8. Spornia SPG-7 Official Forum Member Review Once again, a BIG shout out to Golfspy and Spornia! A little about myself, I'm 68 years old and my handicap usually varies between a 8 -10. I've been playing for 33 years and try to get out 2-3 times a week during our April - November season. I've only owned one hitting net and that was a old Callaway net I bought at a garage sale for 9 bucks. It was such a pain to put up and take down I finally ended up giving it to goodwill when I couldn't sell it at our own garage sale. I had never considered getting another one until I read about the Spornia and entered the contest. First Impression It was much more compact than I thought it would be. Packaged nicely with good instructions but I have to admit this net was so easy to put up I didn't read them until after I had the net up. (Isn't that what we real men do?) Quality From the moment I pulled this net out of the box I knew it was a quality product. Netting was very heavy. You just knew you had a quality product. Ease of use I'm not sure how anyone could make a hitting net any easier than this to put up unless it just sprang to the open position when you pulled it out of the cover. I'm guessing it took about 3-4 minutes to put up or take down. Hitting Balls This net will take anything you want to give it. I left it set up from day one and hit balls nearly everyday to some extent. The way the ball comes back to the front of the net is a fantastic design. The only negative I can say about the net is every once in a while if you hit a low ball it will get stuck behind the outside net. Not a big deal to retrieve it though by just reaching around the back of the net and flip the ball back. Final Thoughts If I would have had to pay full retail for this net it still would have been one of the best purchases I've made. I look forward to this net making my winters much shorter and enjoyable for a long time. If there's a better hitting net than the Spornia at any price I'd like to see it. Courses have just opened and I can already see the improvement in my ball striking after just one round. P.S. Sorry for the short review but Sirchunks review was so good I didn't want to be redundant .
  9. Partner having a bad day: I just don't know what my problem is. Me: Loft is your problem my friend. Lack Of F'ing Talent!
  10. These will stay in the bag unless the new Wilson CB's are a upgrade and that will be a challenge.
  11. Heck, I carried 2 drivers and 2 putters for a few years back in the 90's.
  12. I'm taking a serious look at a set of Sub70 699 irons. They are a little bit bigger iron than what I like but I might give them a try for the price.
  13. I actually gained 10-15 yards going to a 43.25" driver from a 45.75". Better yet, if I miss a fairway it isn't by much.
  14. Thanks. I only live a hour from their place so I'm quite interested in their stuff.
  15. All I know is I'm longer and straighter with a 43" driver than any 45 3/4"I've ever played. And it's not even close.
  16. Sorry, I feel the dispersion is better with Mayo. Consistency might be a bit better with Miracle Whip though.
  17. Anyone with even half a repeatable swing can game these if they are like the V6's.
  18. I picked up a mint set of Wilson V6's 3-GW a couple of weeks ago. Can't tell you how impressed I am with them. First time in 15 years I've carried a 3 and 4 iron that I can hit.
  19. They're probably fine. I just like to support real golf business's .
  20. I just can't get excited about buying golf clubs from a place like Costco. Especially something like wedges. Wonder when Second Swing is gonna start selling Pork Chops and Toilet paper?
  21. I sell industrial supplies in the maintenance sector. Been with the same company for almost 34 years. Also played in Rock bands for 45 years. Damn, I'm old.
  22. So the I59 talk is just that. Talk. Bummer!
