I received the grip on Monday and installed it on my Cleveland Frontline Elite RHO putter. I was able to get it on the course this morning for 15 holes and it took a little getting used to but overall I was pleased with the way it fit in my hands. I use a left hand low grip and felt like i was able to keep the putter face very square throughout the stroke. There were times with the old grip I had that the face tended to open slightly and didn't seem to have that issue with this grip. I should be able to get out a few more times this week and can't wait to see how things progress from here. I did have 2-3 one putts from 10-15 feet. I would recommend to anyone having issues with keeping the face square during your stroke.

Just a quick follow up. I've been able to get 4 more rounds in with this grip and my putting has been more consistent. No 3 putts in the last 4 round and multiple putts made and when missing only by a little bit with the speed almost perfect. Would definitely recommend to anyone that is having issues with keeping the face square or with speed control

  3. I saw an article on this Putter Grip company yesterday and was wondering if anyone has tried them. I did order one and it should arrive next week. Technology and reasoning behind this grip sounds interesting. Own the putter face with Tru Performance technology (goatgrips.com)

  4. I was wondering if anyone has tried golf clubs from this website. I've been very curious and have thought about purchasing a driver from him. Figured I can't go wrong with money back guarantee. Any comments?

Played a couple rounds with the 006 - its a classic mid-mallet shape but made for medium / strong arc putts.  Overall, I LOVED the quality / weight of the putter, but decided on a Scotty Phantom instead.  If I was in the market for a new putter, I wouldn't hesitate to try them out (they have an INCREDIBLE return policy)!

I just picked up one of these on the used rack at an Edwin Watts store of $99. Played my first round with it today and had no 3 putts. It didn't come with the weight kit and had the 10 gram weights in it, great feel and distance control. Now have to decide between it and the FN001.

In pretty great shape for a used set - I'm thinking very hard about the new 699-pro V2 - trying to demo with a Stiff shaft (they only have x-stiff at the moment), to see how they compare to my GI set of Sim Max from 2020.  But after hitting the P790s at a local store, I can't stop thinking about how good they felt, lol - in the meantime, just trying to practice patience and consistency with what I have.

My regular little course is a par-61, and it can wreak havoc on me in a way that a full-length course rarely does - crazy how tricky the little ones can be, especially on a day where the putter's misbehaving.

Curious to see if they beat out your Apexes over the course of the season!

I would recommend giving the 699 V2's a try. Went to Sycamore and was fitted for the V2 irons came from set of Tour Edge EXS irons. Sub 70 feel better when flushed and are very good on mis hits. Don't think you could go wrong with them. Good luck choosing the right set

Just got a set of custom 101 irons. Delivery was close to 12 weeks. Like the look and feel and can't wait to hit them- there is 11 inches if snow on the ground right now. The 8 iron in the set had a couple of dings on the toe with a spot of rust. I was quite surprised considering they were brand new! Sent an email to Takomo and they, of course apologized and said it "shouldn't affect performance," and gave me a $25 credit toward my next purchase. No mention of replacing the head/head or addeessing the issue directly. I mean, a brand new set kf custom clubs that should of, at least, not have any marks on them! I have bought several sets of irons in my time: Wilson Staff, Taylormade, Calloway and even a few sets of Northwesterns (talk about budget!) and this had never happened! It may sound picky, but considering their claim to be a cut above, I really had high hopes. Needless to say, I will not be buying anything from them again.

Believe I would send the whole set back and try a different brand

  8. I've been playing the previous version of the Elixir for the last 2 years and just purchased the 2022 model. I was able to play 2 rounds and the 2022 version felt softer off the driver and irons with a little more greenside spin. Just wondering if anyone else has tried them

New Pricing before eBay listing begins!

Hey guys, just literally pulled these out of the box they were shipped in earlier this summer, and before I try to peddle them on the Bay, I figured we'd offer them here.

We've got three dozen brand new Srixon Z Star XV in the Divide White and Yellow, new in box. Most interested in selling them as a combined lot, but if there's no interest, would piece them out at the following price points, ball still retails at $45 a box.

    1 dozen: $35

    2 dozen: $65 Total ($32.50 a dozen)

    3 dozen: $90 for the lot ($30 a dozen)

Shipping will be covered by me to the Contiguous 48, if Alaska, Hawaii, or international, we'll need to talk.

I'll take 3 dozen and if I can pay with Venmo that would be great, if not let me know what you prefer

FYI - OnCore Golf is a Buffalo, NY company and they have been producing DTC golf balls for 7 to 8 years. They compete with, and are rated at least as good if not better than Vice, Snell, and other premium Urethane covered golf balls, as well as the much-heralded Maxfli Tour and Tour X balls. Even MyGolfSpy has rated the OnCore balls very highly, and they come out of the same factory and off the same production lines at Foremost Golf as several of the other premium Urethane balls. The one differentiator between OnCore and all of the other Urethane balls is that OnCore has metallic particles in the mantle layer on their top models, which results in straighter flight and greater stability in the wind vs. the other balls.

I am a member of Team OnCore, so I get even greater discounts than the general public, so I just got 4 dozen of their premium Urethane cover balls for $100 with free shipping; you can’t beat that price for such top-quality balls!

I thought about joining Team OnCore and was wondering if you thought the perks were worth the price. I may have to join next summer although don't need a golf bag. Thanks

Thanks for the info, but think I will stick with an exceptional performing golf ball.  When it comes to golf equipment, I have worked hard all my life and have saved for my retirement.  I have put aside a special golf account so I can wear the best apparel/shoes and play the best equipment/balls.  Have been called a brand snob, but that is aok, you get what you pay for.   But on the other hand, life is about choices, you have to live with the ones you make.  Was always brought up to spend my money well and not waste it on imitations.  Was poor but mom always bought quality products for us, somehow.   She always emphasized they lasted longer.

I understand what you're saying but when you can spend less and get a quality product it only makes sense to give them all a try. Based on your comments I know I won't change your mind. There are some companies out there that offer great products and sell direct to the consumer, OnCore, Sub 70, New Level to name a few that give you a great product and save you money to play more golf. Enjoy your retirement and have an open mind on some of the other equipment.

Never heard of OnCore.  Time to purchase the premium Titleist balls "will be" in the upcoming loyalty program which will kick off in the spring of 2023.  By four dozen and pay for three thru Titleist accounts.  A great deal and saves you a great deal.  Having test the new Prov1s and Prov1xs, I will definitely stocking up on the new Prov1s.  Out perform the Prov1x left dash when it comes to distance.  Stocked up on the left dash and started using it, but when I tested the new Prov1, I changed my mind based on the results.   Have played the Prov1, after being fitted for it many years ago, and with the new ball looks like I am staying with it.

Check out OnCore they make a very good ball for the price and usually run a buy 2 get one free during late Nov early Dec. Vero1 plays similar to Pro V and last year 3 dozen were $80 during promo.

Like the look of the putter..not sure I am a fan of the mallet head though ?

I picked up a FN001 from Sub 70 a few weeks ago and have never putted better. I had the 004 Fang style from Sub 70 and they are battling for bag supremacy now. Can't go wrong with Sub 70 for price, quality, and customer service

I Have tried one as part of most wanted testing.  It wasn’t the best putter for me but that doesn’t mean it isn’t right for someone.

I would have loved to try it on the course, guess I should start looking for a good price on one.
