  1. Have to agree with @RickyBobby_PRhere. Altho it would be great to get a replacement from TM, given the age of the model sometimes that can be difficult. Same went with my Epic recently. I've found something like 2 cycles is normal to be replaced so in TM that would be the original SIM, anything prior to that I wouldn't expect anything from the manufacturer. Maybe with receipt for when it was purchased something better will come of it! However I wouldn't hold my breath. Hope for the best!
  2. It's the down side of having the how to become a tester highlighted for those that will get something out of it and the others which think it is where to apply. Hopefully for those that do read the thread it will provide them with drive good information.
  3. Testing brings a lot of eyes to the forum, but not a ton of new content. It's how most find the forum which is great, so hopefully as a community we can find ways to retain some of these golfers who come for testing. Large reason why I made this thread in the first place. We as mods have zero to do with the sm push for tests whether that be Twitter/Instagram/Facebook or whatever else may be used. However I can imagine. It certainly helps with numbers on their end with likes and impressions and all of that. However that is far outside my area. In the end again hopefully we can retain some of these users and make them into life long members!
  4. I even added the big bold do not sign up here and on the announcement... So hoping that helps.
  5. Only in certain circumstances is area a issue or reason for selection. The process is a lot more then that and explained here: We select serval international each season and welcome all new members from anywhere and everywhere.
  6. Sadly probably wont help.... I appreciate the effort though!
  7. I'm excited to announce two new themes being introduced as special edition themes for The Masters. Why two? Well truthfully I launched one earlier today and a feature didn't work out how I planned so I made up a new one that has some more Master-y appeal. The benefit is now you as users get two to pick from! Everything looks to be in order and working as it should, but as always if you notice anything let me know and I'll do what I can to tweak it to resolve any issues that may be there. I also want to take this time to point out that we also have a Masters Live Chat - I would encourage when anyone is watching this week to check out the chat and we can look to discuss more of that there in a live back and forth... Enjoy all! Same thing, simply go to the bottom. Select Theme and now you will have a list of various themes to check out... At this time this is still a opt in feature, but I would love to have the membership flexible enough that we make these limited edition themes a opt out for the period of time while these events are going on. However that is a story for another day!
  8. Outside the box a little but given you have 4 sets, what's to say you have to use a full set of one? If the Sub70 pw works the best use that, if the pxg 7 iron she best use that. As long as the gapping is what you are looking for and you are comfortable with the numbers you are seeing it could be a fun bag to have.
  9. I'll let you try it with one of 4 other Scottie owners first!
  10. Outside of music still a lot of CBS fantasy football podcasts.
  11. I've run an update to the Community Map. In the case that your marker has you somewhere you are not, or you have been placed somewhere at random it does look to be a VPN thing when selecting find my location (as has been told to me by the dev) So to remedy this we have disabled the find my location and you can simply go in and Update Location and enter in your address or city of where you live. This should resolve any of the issues. In addition, we had it set to sinc with your profile (location included) this may have also caused a bug when updating your profile. This option of Location syncing with profile updates has been turned off as well. However the other info such as SS, Strength and such will still show. Sorry it took so long to update and get the answers, but it should work much smoother from here on out and please let me know if you're having issues.
  12. I think finally after pages of comments we have come to a pretty good conclusion on this. Go out test what you want, find out what is best for each individual. As we all have very different swings, different preferences to feel, different tempos, angle of attack and on and on ... not to mention the different equipment we all use whether it be older kit or brand new. There are so many different factors that come into play when purchasing equipment and in the end we can all make our own decisions and use whatever sources we feel are applicable to us. We will all have our own experiences with different products as well and we are more then open to sharing our own opinions on these topics. However it should go without saying that blanket statements such as product X does this for all are very tough to justify. It is just too varied of a game golfer to golfer, course to course and day to day. I know what has worked best for me and have found different results, but thats me and my swing plain and simple. So with that I hope that the conversation on the brand/shafts can continue in a professional manner and do our best to avoid blanket statements that can cause reasonable debates to turn to the uglier side.
  13. Also on the Scheffler topic - https://golf.com/gear/putters/scottie-scheffler-match-play-cameron-wall-to-wall/ He also added in the Stealth driver and has won all 3 events with it.
  14. I know Stroll has had his good moments, but to me this is a make or break year for his future potential. Unless AM just sucks then of course he will have an excuse, but with his Dad being there is little chance he gets the boot. Tsunoda is another interesting one. If Gasly leaves, then can he step up? Or what my happen there. He does need to show more consistency in year 2. His car not making the grid last week hurt. I hope the best for Mick. Cleaning up some of the crashes would go a Long Way. Aree with just about everything else. So much talent and so much talent on the bench. Makes even more sense to introduce that 11th team.
  15. For sure, to avoid spoilers feel bad for some, but the safety car luck just didn't work out. Hopefully won't be as much of a issue for the next race. This track is pretty exciting. I don't love it and prefer Baku, but this has provided two very memorable races for us.
  16. I'll take a look, but don't know what that would happen. Do you use a VPN?
  17. It is going to make for a very interesting season and one that will likely be very different race to race. I think what I'm most excited for is the development advances as the season goes.
  18. Not a idiot. I had cobra amp cell pro irons as my main set for a long time and was about a 15 or so hdcp. For me learned a lot and loved the feel and look of them. May have not suited me the best but man I loved playing them.
  19. Im going to play around and see what works. I had the 9 playing 10, so I'll try this 10.5 playing 9.5 and go from there. There are so few options being lh and used that i couldn't really be picky so try it and at the very first resell it.
  20. Although i don't believe this would be the issue but possible that if the issue is the head. Then it may be cross threaded and that's why it was so tight before. I've only seen this a handful of times, but could explain the issue to some extent.
  21. As promised. It came with a reg shaft that won't suit me, but thankfully I have my Epic Shaft which will do the trick... I hope. Either way can't wait to get to the range and see how this performs!
  22. Now that I have a Mavrik Sub Zero I'll be curious to see how they stack up in a head to head battle.
  23. Had that going in! Would have been a near perfect week had verstappen finished the race
  24. I wanted to give a shout out to @GolfSpy_TCG He has been a great asset to the forum over his time and is genuinely just a great person and I've really enjoyed working with him over the last 8 or so months. I can't say enough about the work and efforts he put forth during the building, creation, follow up and scheduling of the AMA section. We hope to continue it moving forward even if it takes a slight turn. We look forward to seeing Chris around the forum still and providing more insights on various topics such as the simulator passive income thread he started and more. Again THANK YOU Chris! Wishing you and the family all the best and good luck with all that the future has in store. I will always look forward to the content and insights you provide to the forum.
