If my memory is correct Golf Works has the "How to" on .355 to .370. Look at the bottom of their website, if not a quick call. Like bending irons, not all irons can be bent and not all irons can be drilled GW will tell you. 10shot

Pulling Graphite Shafts (Or, did I ruin this shaft?)
10shot replied to edingc's topic in Club Making/Repair & DIY Projects
No issue, glue in a lead stem from a swing weight, rock on (just for support) . Graphite, heat gun works best IMO -

Adjusting irons loft for distance
10shot replied to Boblopez1's topic in Club Making/Repair & DIY Projects
IMO, make sure those Snakeyes can be bent. GolfWorks can assist, not all clubs can be bent and, they will break... You can adjust but remember, when adding loft you're adding bounce. Your clubs could become digger soles not good....for me I don't like diggers Have fun -
Maltby Playability Factor - which irons are easiest to hit
10shot replied to Gogolf's topic in General Equipment Talk
Check out some of the long irons in the Pro's bag. Lots of Wide soles -
I have several sets of Maltby irons, TE in my bag now. I switch to the DBM set when I feel like a change. I hit the TS-1 at Golf Works in the spring (19), well balanced head strikes the ball well. It is a filled head, I prefer straight Forged. The MPF factor is a well received weighting system used by several company's, you wont go wrong using it. IMO I would avoid the KE4 series no one liked them in class, neither did I.

My bad, I was commenting on the Video recorder, that's a no go....sry Voice is NP Enjoy I've been to many classes there, great time and you wont find more knowledge in one place. Make sure you taken the tour of manufacturing, pretty cool stuff -
Interesting note: Yesterday I received email from Costco saying they will be refunding me for the 4 dozen golf balls I purchased. Seems lots of folks complained about quality so Costco refunded my total purchase to include shipping. Yes this was on the new 4 piece ball, Thanks for the 4 dozen golf balls that play awesome.

Remember this, once you cut the grip end you're done, frequency is set at that length.

Here's a tip, new style hybrid send it back to the manufacturer. If you are going to do it call Golf works to see if it can be adjusted.

Golf works can assist. The LTech are great ladies clubs. They are ultra game improvement. My wife loves them. They will know the specs with a few questions answered.

New Golf Cart Batteries, Trojan Lead Acid or Upgrade to Lithium?
10shot replied to deejaid's topic in General Equipment Talk
Don't rule out gel batteries. Search for cell site backup power. Battery corp makes great deep cell. Batteryshark is a good website. -
Cosco has a nice golf organizer for 100.00. I have several, they work great
-
Maybe Google the "Iron Factory" they do great work.

OP, One way to fit. You test a few shafts/heads/swing weights. Fitter makes you 1 or 2 clubs, you go play golf. THis is done over several days, not a damn marathon in 4 hours. Thinking a machine can tell you want club to use is, well if you think that go for it. The launch monitor can tell you spin, height, club head data etc. What it cant tell you is the effect of ground contact, different rough, etc, etc, etc. Always play the clubs on course before you buy...ALWAYS Just IMO.

Made just try a lower torque shaft

There's more years experience at The Golfworks than anywhere in the states. Good folks... Enjoy your new clubs

You could try the Iron Factory. They have many refrub heads

I've purchased many grips from AliExpress. Many are OEM made in China. Now, if you taking about the $40.00 grip Pride MCC 4, tour Velvet on eBay. I had a couple guys asking me to regroup using them. Give me crap because they were so much cheaper. Well I purchased several grips sets ( 13 ea) from eBay sent them to the largest grip wholesaler in the USA, counterfeit. I sell lots of grips, many folks don't play alot or, don't have 10.00 per club to spend. AliExpress has good product. It's easy to see who makes the grips, the website tells you. PGM is a large company you know. I just bought several golf cage targets from AliExpress, $18.00, Amazon, eBay $32.00 same product. Oh and free shipping. How many orders have you placed on AliExpress?

You can buy grips from AliExpress for a few bucks. They are not bad at all.

I would not drill that out. Drills have a way of going sideways into the hosel and tearing the edges up. You just need to find an easy out or golf shaft extractor right around the size of the shaft little smaller. Lots of well placed heat, do not use propane it will burn the top of you club head. Use Butane, up and down about 15-20 seconds in each spot, then try the easy out. This can take some time, I've seen these devils set in there for 30 minutes of work. Best take it to a pro shop it worth the 20 bucks, buy a shaft they may do it for free. Golfwork for the extractor SKU: 35P5 Good Luck 10Shot
