I have tried these and they are ok... Nothing super spectacular to me. I like the regular staff ball more. Plus, while I am a fan of manolo. The marketing around this ball is as terrible as the name.

Cheaper than the crap Toulon has on the market. Toulon went to crap once they sold to Callaway and switched materials.
Most of the odyssey putters aren’t worth the $200ish they are going for
Hard to bash odyssey much. they out sell the rest of the putter world combined. I have almost zero experience with Toulon. I think they look nice. the few I have rolled felt good to me But I cant say they are worth the money either.. The garage stuff looks good but $600 for a putter.. Eh.... tough to swallow. But then again. I think the average putter cost is like $300 now..
Mizuno's seem like the best value in a milled putters. They at least include weights for free.

I like the slimmer fangs on these. Nice shapes. Not the biggest scotty guy but the futura phantom line is cool I think.

... It would be one thing if golf publications or forums promoted Camerons as the best, but they are widely used by many Am's so it is a tough sell to call them "over rated". Of course as a personal opinion almost everything is valid "I think they are over rated" is something nobody can disagree with other than a rebuttal of their own personal opinion. And to be fair I honestly don;t think there is any putter that can hole more putts than any other putter, it is all pretty much just personal preference as long as you are in the right putter for your stroke. Even then we saw great putters like Isao Aoki whose lie was so far off I am surprised he didn't plow some greens and plant some corn with his heel:
That is fair, of all the scotty stuff, I like the futura stuff the best. The rest is just a more expensive version of the same putter everyone else is making.

That putter looks cheap and ugly. Not interested at any price.

I have some of the stripe balls. I am a fan of the pattern. I really like the srixon divides and this kind of reminds of those. The tour response over all is just too soft. They need to bring this design to the TP5 line.

I preorder and was told I should have it at street date (March 31st)
They don’t need to rely on other companies for components as much as with irons/woods.
Nice

These look fantastic. Are these going to be a 5 month wait as well?

As stated, Miranda is no longer with MGS. Harry still works at headquarters and is in the same position he was previously.
Yeah, I am always just nosey and curious where she went and why. That's all.. Wise her the best.

Always a fun event. There is always the 5th major talk and the tour really really really wants it to be a major. I think the players should just be the players. It does just fine standing on its own.

It is funny, I think it was yesterday I was wondering if no putts given was dead or if it had simply fallen off my podcast rotation. Then it popped this morning.
For sure a different feel to it. Wondering what happened to Miranda, and (I suck with names) her husband. Is he no longer around either?

Please go read wishon’s shaft myths on wrx and also the nice thread that Howard did. Shafts have two roles. Weight and feel. They play a role in how the golfer swings, the golfers swing determines how the club is delivered.
Your last statement is the only thing that is accurate in your statement in relation to woods/hybrids. Getting the right loft so that one is in the right launch window is how predominately all fitters start and then use the shaft to fine tune, but it’s the head and contact point along with face and path relationship that will determine start point, spin, launch and movement of the ball
I have read it. I have also had the opportunity to meet Wishon before. The thoughts there are old and outdated. I disagree with him. Wishon also says that adjustable hosel's do not actually do anything. Shafts, or better put shaft design meaning EI curve etc.. absolutely, 100% influence launch and spin. It is incorrect to say they do not. Again, it is simply a question of how much...

Shafts don’t launch or spin. Shafts are for weight and feel. The weight and feel can influence in a good or bad way how a person swings and how that influences delivery of the club and contact point. If you want more knowledge/info on shafts search wishon shaft myths and read that article also search shafts - when to change and when to tweak loft and driver spin - angle of attach. These two posts and the article will answer a lot of your questions about shafts and heads.
Shafts absolutely can influence launch and spin.. Maybe not to the degree that many think but saying the "don't" effect launch and spin is about as erroneous a statement as there ever has been regarding equipment.. So the question is really not if, but how much impact the shaft will have on launch and spin. The head will have the greatest effect on flight and the shaft is more of a dial for tuning.

Interesting results in this. I would have never thought Ping would take the cake. It is a terrible sounding driver. It is stable thats for sure, but just about everything I have hit the past 3 years has out performed it. It was not even really close.

The ball seems very decent. The marketing is strongly Wilson kind of missing the point again..

Nice stuff. I was lucky to test some product a few years ago. Still use it every time I play.

Allegedly TaylorMade brings a new driver to market too often. Would someone care to explain how having new drivers available in the marketplace is a problem? Seems even less of a issue if I were to buy into the concept that these new drivers don't offer any performance improvement.
The people that worry about such things are constantly worried about clubs resale value.

I am not an insert guy either.. Although, I kinda dig the new taylormade spider putters. They are a bit different but I like their take on the 7 shape.
