As many others have said, slow play/not playing ready golf is one…along these lines is the group that takes their sweet time clearing a green for the follow group to play up.
The next are those that don’t repair ball marks on the greens.  Not only does it ruin it for those behind you, but also damages the greens long term.  Please take care of the course.

While I agree this is bad, watching that same foursome waiting for the green to clear that’s 300 yards away, after one guy hit his tee shot 50 yards is the worst. And he still had 130 yards after his second shot.
Honestly, we were used to them looking for balls by the time this happened on the 12th hole.

I do not have many, I don't care if you walk in my line or talk during my swing, really does not bother me but these two REALLY bother me.
-As many have said slow play. I cannot deal with this lol. I am fine if your slapping the ball around, going OB or playing two balls but just be ready to play and don't spend 5 minutes looking for your ball. If you're spraying it just bring a lot of balls and drop one man!
-The other is screaming loudly or banging your clubs on the course. First of all I get being frustrated and getting the "rrrrrrr" out but you dont need to be screaming obscenities really loud, do it under your breath. The other damaging the course is my BIGGEST pet peeve. Dont damage it man, its hard enough to maintain.

Echoing the sentiments of comments already made by @Josh Parker & @GolfSpy_BEN, slow play, whether it is blatant or ignorant bliss, is by far what irks me the most on the course. It throws me out of a rhythm and annoys me to the point that sometimes I am better off just walking off or strictly treating the remainder of the round as practice.
Watching a foursome on the green where three who are not putting stand around, then line up their putt only when it is their turn, irritates me to no end!!!

I don't do Costco (or any of the similar places like Sam's Club either), but how the putter looks doesn't bother me. If I made a bunch of 20-footers with it and it was affordable, it would look bee-you-tiful to me. My current gamer isn't a thing of beauty either.

I appreciate the effort put into explaining Callaway's use of AI. However, I don't find anything about what you've written particularly insightful simply because you only have the public information Callaway has released to write about. It seems Callaway has done a good job about not releasing too much information about whatever they are doing with AI.
I am skeptical of Callaway's AI claims. I am mainly skeptical because as you and other have noted that Callaway's process, AI or not, is largely a generative and iterative design process. Perhaps the real progress with AI is that Callaway is saving money on engineering costs. I'm also skeptical about how much AI is worth in golf because golf equipment has been some of the most highly engineered sports equipment for the last 50 years. I don't think club design is where the gains are. I could be wrong but I think the gains for golf equipment is largely in new/improved manufacturing techniques and materials. I would be for confident in Callaway marketing if they said they used AI to design better tooling or better composites.
On the whole, golf equipment improvement has been at a point of diminishing returns for the better part of a decade, at least. Until the USGA and R&A change the rules, we're going to see wheels continue to spin.

What Callaway is doing is generative design. They use data points to set parameters for their AI model to design to. Then they test and validate what comes out and tweak as needed. This isn't new for Callaway. They've done this for years now. I don't think they're trying to pull the wool over anyone's eyes. They have a model that allows them to come up with thousands of iterations of designs in a much shorter time period than would be possible with only humans working on it and they've openly stated throughout that the models have created designs they wouldn't have come up with on their own. Whether that's impressive to people is entirely subjective. As someone with an engineering background and some experience in club design, yeah I find it impressive and interesting. I don't think it's a thing that anyone should get worked up over though. If the club's good for you and the price is right, bag it and enjoy it. If it's not, then don't. It's not that big of a deal. I guess I just don't see the point in caring that much about how Callaway markets their AI use. I don't see a problem.
Launch monitors aren't AI. Radar-based monitors collect data points throughout the ball flight and plot the ball's trajectory through those data points. The more data points the monitor collects, aka sample rate, the more accurate the trajectory it outputs. That's not AI. It's not useful comparing the two and I'm not sure why you are in the first place.
All in all, I struggle to see the point of this thread. Perhaps once there's some actual insight posted, I'll see it, but really not sure where you're going with this or what your intentions are at this point. Good luck I guess.

What aspects of AI are you covering?  Most people are going to be familiar with the large language models/natural language processing, robot automation/self driving cars, and maybe Robotic Process Automation (RPA) for what AI is.    As for what is being used in the golf industry I would say it is more data analytics and predictive analytics.  Maybe there is some machine learning involved.    With your disclaimer above, it means that you are probably talking about LLMs like chatGPT or Bing AI that generates text, audio, or images.   These things still need to be reviewed by humans for completeness nd accuracy as they are not 100% accurate.
For example the Wilson Fitting AI is basically we have a large training set of captured data and the fitting result for that data.  When the player swings the club the data is compared against the dataset and it "predicts" what will be the best fit.
The Callaway face AI is probably a little different as they are probably using AI to predict how the face will work to optimize for weight and strength.

    Just a couple:
People who park their carts in front of or wrong side of the green while they are putting. Visitors who don't fix green ball marks or fill divots with provided sand.  They are there once and don't care. People stop, fill out their scorecards and talk about their missed opportunities on the side of the green before proceeding to the next tee.  Do all that on the next tee box! Golf courses that forget that you are the customer and should be treated with some respect for spending their hard-earned dollars playing a game.   Your cart mate hooking up their Bluetooth speaker and blasting music before asking you if it's OK or what type of music you might want to hear. You'd think it's December 23rd (Festivus) and we're airing grievances!

Tom I will concur with your #2 about bunker sand! I played several courses around here last year and I can honestly say I had 1 or 2 bunkers with actual sand in them. The rest were exactly as you described or worse they were full of water.

    # 1 SLOW PLAY.
Sunday, I pulled into the parking lot, and I could see the first tee was empty. I got out my MotoCaddy, put my bag on, put my golf shoes on. Still, nobody on the first tee. I checked in at the Pro shop. He said I was good to go. There was a twosome riding that went off a little while ago and they should be on #4 by now. I get to the tee box in which the elevation is lower than the fairway. I walked up to where I could see if the fairway was clear. Not the case the twosome was not even on the green yet and it was only a 368-yard straight hole. At that rate it was going to be a 7-hour round. I waited for them to clear the green and tee off on the par three 150-yard 2nd hole before I hit my tee shot on hole 1. I finished the hole, and they were still on the green on 2. I headed over to Hole 4 to get in front of them. Never saw them the rest of the day. Heck I was probably home before they made it to the back 9. 🤣
#2. Courses need to put sand in the bunkers not a 1/4" dusting of sand and small pebbles. If you get in one rake it when you're done.
#3. Fix your ball marks on the green.

This is correct. Coincidentally, the same guy that waits for the green to clear, only to top it, also usually has a four-minute pre-shot routine that doesn’t begin until the green is clear 😁

Whether it be with mannerisms or course layout or something else that just drives you nuts... What is it?
I'll start, mine is when people aren't ready to hit when it's their turn. I used to golf with one of my father-in-law's friends and every time it was his turn to hit, he would still be in the cart carrying on conversation, finishing a smoke, and just oblivious to everything else going on. Needless to say, I don't golf with him anymore.

Trash - pick up your water bottles, wrappers, ball sleeves, etc. when you are on the course. If you see something pick it up and dispose of it in a trash can!

I had a feeling 🙂 I would wager (at least, say $199) that this thing performs WAY better than people would expect it to.  I think, for the average golfer, this is going to be one of (if not THE) best options available.  Variable Face Tech, adjustable head, carbon crown, titanium face - it's going to give most average golfers the an incredible price point to have the "latest" tech - sure, there are companies doing crazier/better things, but this has all the hallmarks of making a LOT of people happy.
I'm a big fan of what they're doing.  I would absolutely buy this if available to give it a test - especially with their return policy, it's a no-brainer.
Won't fit everyone, but it'll be pretty close to perfect for a whole LOT of folks.

I've had mine since May.  I find it close to the same distance as my old Epic LS, maybe a few less Ball Speed, but the dispersion is much tighter.  I find more fairways without a doubt.
After this video I've set everything to neutral and it seems to do its job quite well.

    No regrets.
I traded my Callaway Rogue for the Paradym after playing a few rounds with it.  There were no massive gains in distance but my dispersion is approximately 2 yards tighter and mishits  are more forgiving.  The acoustics of the Paradym also inspire more confidence.

I had that funk or end to the honeymoon period after gaining an average of 10 yards over my previous driver- G425 Max. Instead of shopping around for a new head, I got a cheap Graphite Design Tour AD TP off of EBay and made a slight swing adjustment and the magic seems to be back- even with the stock Hzrdus Smoke Silver. So now I have the GD that has a more penetrating ball flight than the Hzrdus, which gives me options. Anyway- for me, the Paradym has been quite the paradigm shift… yes, I went there. 😜
