  1. So I watched the NTC video a few times, worked on the moves in front of a mirror and went to the range this morning. Working on Cast A to 8:00 resulted in lots of hooks. Clean contact, but WAY left. I tried a few different things out and when I felt like I was casting to 6:00 all of a sudden by ballflight changed to a much straighter shot. It may be that what I felt was 8:00 was really 9 or 10? Without video, who knows? I went to a different range at lunch and kept that feel of throwing to 6:00 and had great contact again. I also worked on not feeling that right hand bending back as much in the backswing, which I started doing after the Efficient Swing video worked out for me. Just getting my thumbs up to the sky and then casting worked well. Honestly, one of my main feels/thoughts that's always worked for me is the feel of my right palm smacking the ball. Some instructors think that's a no-no so I stop doing it after a bit, and my shots suffer as a result. Combing the Efficient Swing plus the NTC feels very natural (to me) as well as having very simple thoughts, which I like. We'll see what happens when I try to bring it to the course, LOL!
  2. I don't. Over the years there have been a lot of very clearly SGI clubs that he's put in the conventional category. The W/S clubs mentioned above are just one of many examples. I stopped paying attention to those ratings quite some time ago.
  3. 2 small buckets today, almost all wedges and 7i. Trying to figure out why I had a lot of topped shots during my round on Wednesday, which is never a problem for me usually. Looks like I'm starting to over-cook having the flat left wrist and bent right wrist at the top of the backswing. My main miss is a wipey fade so I'd rather go in slightly closed than wide open, in my efforts to stay square to closed looks like I've been WAY closed. Some tips from Monte Scheinblum's last two vids helped, just trying to point my thumbs to the sky instead of actively bending/flattening helped out a lot. Hit some great wedge shots and noticed my 7i ballflight was a lot straighter. Driver was decent when I used it for my last 5 balls, although I popped the last one up. Should have walked away with the baby draw I had hit with 2 balls left!
  4. My daughter has taken over our spare room to be her classroom/art studio for the semester so all my stuff is shoved off to the side. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I bought the No Turn Cast video last night and now I know why the original drill never worked for me. I had a major misunderstanding of how things worked. Seeing Monte make the moves in slow motion on the clockface really made things click. And it does work very well with The Efficient Swing video - there's a lot of things shared in regards to the backswing and the transition.
  6. Your room looks a lot like my spare room - ekit, guitars, recording interface, etc!
  7. Same. I've seen a LOT of brown on the last 3 courses I've played... and my backyard! It's been steady & heavy since I left the course at 1pm.
  8. Whaling City Golf Course in New Bedford. It's normally a bit of a wet course anyways due to drainage (new owners are doing a lot to fix that thankfully) and location, but today was mud ball after mud ball with the steady drizzle.
  9. Agree wholeheartedly. This format, with the graphics and the way they're reporting is very well laid out and easy to read.
  10. Downhill 9i from 138. Of course I lipped out the birdie putt [emoji107] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

In the past 5 years, Rask is 4th in GAA, 3rd in wins, and 1st in shutouts in the NHL. What is there to criticize? The fact that he went home because his daughter was in the hospital? The fact that the Bruins couldn't score until late in the 3rd period in Game 7 last year? Every fanbase outside of Boston is completely confused at the vitriol sent Rask's way. And they're right - there's no need for it.
  12. 48/50 for a wet & soggy 98. 6 FiRs, 3 GiRs. 3 pars. Short game was decent today with only one 3 putt the entire round and a number of decent wedges from 100 and in. But everything else was not good. Too many penalties off the tee, and a number of topped shots which is unlike me. Usually my miss is a big ol' fattie. The rain was an on and off sprinkle until we got to 15 when it became an outright downpour so we got soaked the last 4 holes. On the good side though, the two of us finished in 3 hours 1 minute since there was no one in front of us. That's 3 hours and 1 minute I didn't spend in the office, so all is good

Anyone who thinks that has zero right to consider themselves a Bruins fan.
  14. Really looking forward to seeing how the two D7's stack up against each other, Rev.
  15. Well I was kind of OK with drafting middle of the pack but now I'm on the back end. I won't be mad if we need another re-do here

I hope not, but if he retires I think Halak will spend next season with Vladar as backup with either Swayman or Keyser getting a huge amount of starts in Providence to get them ready. Guaranteed if he does retire, the Boo Hoo Tuukka Crew will be out in full force exclaiming what a great goalie he was, how they never wanted him to leave, etc when all the did was crap all over him while he was playing.

Yeah the Bruins have been outclassed since Game 1. If Tuukka was still here, I think it would be the same. Disappointing, but with an older core you can tell the layoff isn't helping their legs. Re: Milbury & JR - they were great hockey players. I'll leave it at that.
  18. When I first started playing, I had a boxed set my wife gave me for Father's Day and I wanted a "real" driver. So I bought a Callaway Razr Fit driver at DSG on clearance. That June I was on the course and came in steep on a drive and the shaft actually cracked up by the handle. It was the damnedest thing. I called Callaway just to see if I could get a new shaft, and instead they sent me a brand new Big Bertha, which was the current model at the time. It arrived just a few days after the call, and I was beyond impressed.

  20. I’m not quoting it because seeing it once was horrible enough. But “Sexy Mark” needs to go away and never, ever come back.
  21. I broke 100 the second year I was playing. I'll let you know when I break 90.
  22. Yeah the first time he consistently outdrives you on a few holes is gonna feel REALLY weird...
