Hello everyone, just joined the forum.
I'm Francesco (Molinari 🤣) writing from Italy. I've been reading your articles for a coyple years now, and I think it was time to join the whole community.
Hooked by the game in fall 2013, been playing in my country club (Valtellina Golf Club, best grass condition ever seen) and in many clubs in whole Northern Italy in these years.
I normally play in the low 80s, my Ega Hcp is 8,7 at the moment.
This game is so special it would take hours to tell what I love about it. One thing for sure is the fact that you always play against yourself: this is special to me, in many ways.
Best thing about golf in my region: my home club is superb.
Worst thing: the closest 18 hole is 1-hour away...
For living I put braces on teen's teeth...yes I had that too, so I know what is like.
MGS is something unique, and I'm sure this community will be very interesting .

Went to the driving range today. First I had on a new-ish Wilson Staff glove, and I could feel my grip slipping on impact. Then I remember I had bought a Bionic glove just before lockdown. I've had an injury to my right thumb, and I thought, what a great excuse to try it out. Man, what a difference it made. I had been wondering whether I should change my grip size. Now, I don't think so.

I have to have full leather, no synthetic. I learned a long time ago that down here in the Deep South, synthetic makes my hands sweat worse in the summer, so full leather only. I like the idea of the rain glove, but I haven’t tried it. It seems like a waste to spend $20 for two gloves when I’d only wear one of them. The only issue I really have is that each summer I go through 10-15 gloves. When it’s 105* heat index, I literally have 5 gloves hanging on the cart going through rotation for each round. I’m envious of Pros who get them free by the caseload.
 
I just bought 10 Footjoy gloves from GolfLocker for $10 each. Great deal, and there’s a noticeable difference in quality over the Master Grip ones I usually buy for $10.
 

I have tried a footjoy glove for the first time and it is t the most comfortable glove ever. I usually get whatever cheapest at Dunhams or something but I forgot my glove when I went to Arizona and tried afootjoy from a golf course and I'm hooked. 

For the money I still think the best deal out there is Mastergrip golf gloves, you get cabretta leather gloves for $7 or less.  www.mggolf.com

Can’t believe nobody has mentioned Finger10. The best glove I’ve ever used.

mggolf.com  can't beat the prices, and they are as good as gloves with national brand names on them that you are paying for the name on.  I just get 4 at a time and restock when I get down to my last one.  Orders usually arrive within a few days.
I do wear a rain glove when it gets above 90 degrees out, because you simply blow through regular gloves in the heat and humidity around this place, which is simply a waste of money on gloves then, and one rain glove lasts an entire summer.

I found a 3 pack of Cabrera leather gloves at Costco for 14.99. Unbelievable value! Great glove. 

I use the Footjoy WeatherSof - I buy the 2 pack and switch gloves after each 9.  They work well during the hot and humid days in Chicago.

Whatever is on sale. But if I can't find any, then FJ WeatherSof.

I use the Zero Friction gloves. I was surprised but one size truly does fit most hands.

I use the Callaway 3 pack gloves from Costco to practice: I play in a GFore or a Titleist 

I use the Bionic ....it really helps these old hands.

I have been using the better Vice glove that I like a lot. Going to look into the Costco gloves. 

My hands sweat too much to go gloveless or else I would. So the gloves I use are Asher golf gloves. They have some good styles and color variety and different cost variety.  I love them and they feel good. If not those then I use a too expensive Taylor made glove lol.

I use MG dynagrip elite in winter. I use leather grips that get really sticky when they are wet so I don’t need a glove in the summer time. 

I wore a glove with the old black and green Victory grips and the white and black Crossline grips.
When I switched to simulated leather wrap style grips, I stopped wearing a glove.

I'll pick up a pack of these on my next visit to Costco, thanks!

I've already managed to pick up some great tips and advice from forum members who have kindly responded to my posts on DIY training in the garden as well as a problem I've had with a club recently. 
What a great community to be part of! 
As a new "Recruit" on the MGS forums I'm working toward shaking this label and becoming an actual member, learning as much about this beautiful game along the way. 
I guess with the current lockdown situation we've got plenty of time to help each other out...
