StrokerAce
Not sure if Tony and the guys who write articles for the Blog are looking for story ideas but one company that intrigues me is XXIO. Had a chance to play a round with GolfSpyBarbajo recently and he was mentioning how big they are overseas. Would be interesting to see an in-depth report similar to the recent PXG one. xxio
They (I:)) was really Big in Japan early to late 2000s. Honma slipped when they invested in golf courses and lost a ton of money. XXIO was there to take advantage of the premium executive golfer niche which is huge in Japan. If you are a certain rank you have to play a certain level of clubs (that is why there is Gliore for TM). That is why Honma/Beres has star rankings. They were able to sustain that which was the key. I only played the "auto-focus" xxio driver way back when, however they have a forged set of irons from 4-5 years ago that are basically the miz 850 forged in a slightly bigger size. There is a lot of money behind the brand. Are they willing to dip into the US market now that PXG has shown there is a market.

numberonecoog
I like the idea of them but honestly I hate they way the stuff looks and having hit the driver. I dont see much improvement. Not worth the price for me. Check out my personal Equipment Blog and Podcast! Huntingforbirdies.com
